I second that! The Galfer (race) green pads are good to carry as spares too; really strong and no bedding in.

UPDATE: It was a loose cassette. knocking noise has gone. So....anyone that has a knocking noise - check your cassette.

FYI (post above) I am a purple Galfer pad fan. 100%!

Thanks for asking . Yeah, had ACL reconstruction and meniscus trim/repair op last August. Been steadily getting back into things since Feb; main thing is not to crash…. ahem, that’s been going well apart from losing the front end in April on a steep shoot in the first bout of dry weather we had in the UK (hurty shoulder on the opposite side to the knee, but nothing show stopping fortunately)
