I bought a 2021 Husqvarna HC7. It has the stock shimano E5000 non-blue tooth display. I want to convert to the SC-E8000 display, but need to know what wiring I will need to do this.

If you have an EP8 you need display SC-EP800, it has color and BT. This display and EP8 use the new cables EW-SD300 which are thinner than the old ones EW-SD50, and not compatible.

There are adapters to convert from EW-SD300 to EW-SD50, they are the Shimano EW-AD305

Thanks for the information again guys. I thought it was the sc-e8000 display. Apparently there is an sc-e800 display and I misunderstood this. One less zero. My bad. I called Wheel and Sprocket. Matt is going to install this for me when the new display comes in a week or two. He is pretty much the EMTB guru for them. They are also a Shimano warranty and expert service dealer. I will relay this information to Matt. Thanks again.

I will. The stock display I believe is a e5000. I need the sc-EM800 model to be compatible with the EP8 motor from my understanding. Hopefully this goes smoothly.

Also Shimano Steps SC-E7000 Display works with EP8 and it's has bluetooth. The Spectral CF7 come with EP8 and that display.

OK so they are installed by Canyon, nice to know. I replaced with EW-EN100 and that works also it also needs the adapter?

Yes. It is required to use adapters, if you pull some cable out of the frame you will see a thinner cable and an adapter that connects both cables.
