Anyone here using a metal motor bash guard on their Levo/Kenevo?

I've seen the Pedalhounds one but are they really necessary?

Cheers

Me personally no, but I think it will be a key factor depending on what type of riding you do, if it’s just mainly flat trails with climbing then shouldn’t be any need. If you are riding some serious black rock gardens then I could see the need for one but again I think it would need to be intense and high rocks where there would be a risk of grounding.

I ride plenty of black trails and don’t feel I need one.

Cool cheers Banktramp ?

For me its rockgardens and potential of risk of catching the BB/motor on things when bunnyhopping over branches etc

I use one on my kenevo and it has saved the plastic battery cover a few times from scrapes and rocks being thrown up. I think it is worth it when you consider how expensive the plastic covers are and the lack of stock at the moment.

Binhill1 has one on his levo, there's a few threads about them. It's from Berkshire Cycles. That version only fits the Levo.
