Anyone found a good bike stand to free spin back wheel?

Bike is heavy and trying to lift it and lube the chain and clean cassette is not easy. A normal bike stand is not able to lift the haibike as its nealy 28k.

What's everyone using?

Is it safe and sturdy? and can you turn the pedals?

Std work stand. I adjust the stand so that it just holds the back up with the front still on the ground (or the other way)

I also use a standard work stand but to lube the chain I just use a plastic clothes peg clipped into the chainring which allows you to turn the pedals backwards.

This one does it for me. Holds my 27 kg haibike perfectly for days.
Just make sure you have a flat surface and that the weight of the bike is equal front and rear.
I had a previous stand Wich just fell over with my bike in it and hitting my crank.

Also keep in mind that alot of stands don't have a big clamp where the frame fits in well

Bought one for road bikes as well. Super easy to pop bike on and lube chain pre ride. I also take it in van when i ride in the mud as it holds bike for rinsing with washer.

As with previous poster clothes peg in the chainring that will allow the reverse movement, if its more than just lubing the chain i use a HD park stand on the seat so as not to crush the C/F frame

It will hold your weight, let alone your bike's - and it's completely stable in my experience.

On my brothers carbon racebike I put some foam protection around it when I put it in

Big piece of cardboard that used to be a box that something came in, and a block for the left side of the handlebar to keep the shimano switchgear off the ground - put the bike upside down. It's very versatile. I do the same in the bush if doing repairs. I can spin the front wheel too ; good for checking brake rotors and truing wheels.

Back brake on, pull bike over with bars to turn upside down.
Hold forks to turn back over till you can hold bars.

No lifting required as all the weight is supported by rear wheel.

I made this out of scrap warehouse racking system, that was laying about. This was instead of an expensive, not very stable bike stand. It’s assembled/stripped in less than a minute, flat pack to store easy, height adjustable in 50mm increments. Very stable & doubles as a bench. Took about an hour to make supports, & alter racking system.

Referring to the stand I got, I find it stable enough for doing the jobs the OP was asking about, but maybe your experience with it was different.
For more involved tasks, I do use a conventional workshop stand.

However, I see that the price on my link has a gone up, so that is disappointing. I bought it just a couple of weeks ago for £20, which I thought was reasonable.
