Hey all,

Is there anyone out there on an AMS HYBRID 177 C:62 of any spec? It looks like a great bike at seriously good prices for the specs, but I can't find much about it in terms of reviews..?

I rode the bike in the TM configuration: it’s a very lightweight bike, rides extremely well, and has great rear suspension - pretty good spec and a great bike for the price 👍

Here’s a review of the AT spec:

It’s a very good bike, but if you go for it, you should definitely choose at least the Action Team version...because of the Bosch CX-R motor, which is significantly more fun, especially with regard to the upcoming performance update where it will also get more power than the cx5..;)

Are you sure the Gen5 CX-R will get more power in the update than the standard CX-5?

I've got one, the

STEREO HYBRID ONE77 HPC TM600X

in green. Have been out for a few rides now and it is BRILLIANT! My first emtb but I'm quite an experienced rider and I'm very happy with it. Feels very planted and solid - off to Morzine on it in a few month's time. Let me know what questions you have and I'll see if I can answer coherently :).

Much appreciated, dude, but it's the AMS Hybrid I'm after, not the Stereo Hybrid. There's quite a difference in weight between the two. Thanks, though, and have fun in Morzine! 🤘

Ha ha sorry about that! I was looking at the AMS Hybrid before I chose mine but my thinking was they are both tanks so might as well go for the larger battery :)

Yep, I have one. Been riding it for maybe 2 months now.

I switched from my trusty 2018 Specialized Kenevo I'd had since new. I wanted something agile with similar geo to what I'd had. Lots of newer bikes are barges these days and I often find I can't get the front wheel off the ground with them.

It doesn't disappoint. Manuals, wheelies, jumping etc. Light enough for jibbing about. And on the trail it rails corners and feels plated but lively. I just swapped the crank arms on mine. 165s are a little too long with the low BB. I've replaced them with 155s and it's perfect now.
