I have a 2022 Specialized Turbo Levo Comp Alloy and a Spec' Turbo 4X both are great fun to ride. My Levo has 630 miles on it and developed an issue that may be a torque sensor issue or maybe nothing at all?, (I've made a separate post about that), and the Tero has been problem free. I am a proponent of supporting my LBS when I can and that's the main reason I bought the Specalized Levo as that's the only serious off road E-bikes they carried.
I didn't do any research on the Levo in terms of early motor failure, (my bad), but my LBS says although they still sell Spec' they are moving more towards Trek, (rail +5 to compare to the Levo comp alloy) as the motors are less problematic. Is it generally thought that the Trek Bosch motor is more durable and less problematic than the Brose Spec' uses?
Thanks for any responses comparing the Trek to the Spec' line in general.
Thanks.
