I have been trying to identify the source of a very loud and annoying creak on my 2025 AMS Hybrid One 44 SLX.
Does anyone know the torque spec for the Bosch SX motor mount bolts?
I have messaged the supplying Cube dealer and they have said that they can't find anything from Cube but Bosch recommends 30nm.
I've contacted Bosch and they confirm the 30nm recommendation but to check with the frame manufacturer. I've messaged Cube but I'm yet to get a response from them.
I have read online that the recommended 30nm is not suitable for carbon frames. I had found a figure of 11nm online but having greased the bolts and used medium strength thread lock on the nuts the creak still persists.
I have recently replaced all the suspension pivot bearings and greased torqued torqued the fixings to spec. I've checked the crank bolts, seat post and headset. My saddle has a slight creak but I can rule that out as this creak happens when pedaling seated or standing.
It's driving me nuts!
