Alternative Bolts Law Route ..19.6.21

Late one..but I thought I would throw it out there ..its a little bit naughty ?..but very straight forward ..and for that reason I won't be giving details prior to the ride .
Just myself & Jaco ..(so 100% ebike )..meeting at the start of the Lead Mining Trail bridleway in Edmundbyers at 10.00am..

It's a shame nobody else could join us as the 5km drop from the top of Bolts Law to Edmundbyers was as dry as I've seen it ..
This is a shorter version of the now " classic " route I sent to MBR way back in 2007 and it takes in part of the C2C route ..so in EMTB terms it's like cruising in the fast lane of a motorway ...it starts on a track out that takes us to Hisehope Resevoir which is rabbitcity man..the amount of craters & holes you have to navigate is unreal but adds to the fun..
Anyway I'll post the route at the end ..
I've just realised too that I can post as many pics as I like as it's my thread ..woohoo! ?
Here goes ..

We are coming back some day after heavy rain with an airbed to ride the overflow channel ..

Parkhead Station tearooms ..Jaco hitching the bike to give me a tour of the grounds and to test the pulling power of the Turbo Levo motor ..

Before I post the next pic..yes it's me ..and yes I have a nearly full set of my own teeth ..no I'm not of Chinese parentage ..but I am going Choo choo..

This sign and another at the other end have just appeared on tracks we used to ride ..we didn't need them today ( just as well ?)
