[EMTB Rider]

I ride this bike better than any bike I have ever ridden! No mechanical issues at all. The bike has been very reliable. At 500 miles tires are worn out, chain is still in spec. I plan on replacing the tires with the OME ones. The only thing about the bike I don't like is the front brake, its not powerful enough. I ride fast and my front brake gets super HOT and is slow to stopping. I would like to upgrade the front brake to something better, other than that I recommend this bike!

There's probably a thousand options, but you quickly and easily swap out the front brake for a zee/saint/xt with finned pads ?

Which might help .. or a 220mm rotor ?

I now have 650 miles on mine, again all 100% reliable
I have been checking the chain and it has just worn to .5 on my chain checker.
Put a new chain on and it skips on gear 9 down to 12
Put old chain back on and all is good.
I will now run this chain and cassette till they die, then replace the lot together.

Perfect.. but you might find the suspension a little less responsive ..

I am going to purchase Shimano Saint brake for the front only. The back is working just fine.

I found the same with the standard brakes, after trying a couple of different pad compounds I fitted a set of Saints and had zero issues, although I do like the look of the MT7’s also...

One of the best mods. Off with those Bontrager. No more front end wash out. Minions stick like Velcro

So far that is the longest tires have ever lasted

But his front brake gets "super HOT" so he is braking really hard. That may be why his tyres are worn out after 500 miles. Maybe they are "super SOFT" tyres, in which case he has done well!
