for those running the 213 x 63mm shock (8.5 x 2.5) with offset bushings, are you putting anything in on the bushings so they cannot turn in the shock? I have ran mine for the past year but I took it off to check something today and noticed that the shop that did work on the bike placed the bushing basckwards but when I went to reinstall I saw how easily they rotate in the shock, so I am thinking there has to be something we can put in to make sure they do not rotate

the offset bushings will not spin around the wrong way provided you are using them the way that they are intended, which is to make the shock shorter. If you are using them to extend the eye to eye length, (which is not what you would be doing when you use an 8.5x2.5 on a rise) then there is the possibility that they will spin around. That being said, I have been able to run some offset bushings in that configuration on extremely well made frames, Santacruz lower link driven frames for example.

In the case of the rise, this is not a concern.
