I imagine any custom modes you create would just default to the standard M2S response settings.

The motor system has strong merits, but to behave as if the Avinox is meaningfully functionally better than the competitors outside of looks and above Class 1 power levels, is dishonest imo.
The Gen 5 already offers best in class efficiency, reliability, quietness, serviceability, feature laden, etc.

I'm piecing together commonly known facts and forming the obvious opinion. I don't derive ANY of my personal ego or security based on how strangers on the internet view my e-bike motor system

The market has already decided the answer to this.

From a product marketing perspective, do you go after DJI now using their own strategy (power, size, slim battery, controller) now that they grabbed this kind of momentum? Especially now that Avinox has opened up their platform for customization (at least on the software front) and we are seeing for a fully integrated platform from them starts to look like? The Bosch platform is hermetically sealed; absolutely nothing about it allows a bike maker to change its personality.

Bosch does need to update their platform, but they are on the heels of a large motor design change from Gen 4 to 5. Whatever they do now should not involve changing motor mounts again. And what about Shimano? It's amazing that they seem to have left the theater, with the existing Rise the only bike that has (for now) keep the Shimano flame alive. It's just not healthy not having at least 3 strong competitors to choose from.

It's going to require a deep pocket competitor to commit or some powerful new tech for some kind of changeup. Maybe a compact TQ100 from left field or perhaps an effective motor-transmission unit to stir things up. It better happen soon as the cement is drying fast.
 
Also, influencers say Axinox is better power delivery (excluding Alex), then Orbea changes power delivery dramatically (5x more responsive!) to more closely mimic Bosch power delivery and suddenly influencers have been trying to get more response from the Avinox and THIS is now in fact better.

Just saying...
I find the Bosch too reactive, just spins the rear when starting on anything lose or steep so not necessarily a good thing. Needs the power controlled. I'd have to ride these bikes back to back to feel the difference in the tunes but I'm hoping Rob will do that for us!

Just gotta adjust Dynamic to -2, pretty easy fix
 
I put together a quick geometry comparison of the Wild LT in L with a few bikes I currently ride and really like in terms of handling. My bikes are heavily modified though (e.g. a full 29er Kenevo and the Enduro converted to mullet with an MRP link), so keep that in mind. I also included the Atherton since it’s widely regarded as having excellent handling. The table is mainly relevant for anyone looking at the Wild LT in size M or L, but maybe some of you will still find it useful.
