Can't believe this starts at val-d-sere .. my last trip down there was to go skiing in the LWB sprinter, hanging the back out on the frozen hairpins and slip roads was almost as fun as the skiing :-) Meant to be !

Ok, So I think as the worst rider I know, I'm going for a tagline of Zimmerframe "Entered First, finished Last" .. I think the odds of me finishing in the top 99 are pretty low, so I'm going full out on the camaraderie ! :-)

Just found these from my last trip there .. after several zillion beers I offered to cut my mates hair .. and tried my best to make a backwards head face without him noticing ... Not quite sure what I was planning with the rest of it .. maybe @thebarber could help me in hindsight :) Great place though ..

Not sure what you were thinking about there but I might have shagged his sister, unless it was him.

Tell me about it .. I'm expecting most of the EMTBers will be double booking to make sure they get twice as much food ! :eek: ;)

Not to mention Rob, does he book in the support crew as entries ? Hairdresser. Hairdressers assistant. Manicurist. Manicurists hairdresser. Private Chef, Sous Chef, Camera Team, Go Pro Technical support member. Specialist data manager and head of uploading. Hot Tub disinfection professional. Apparel Assistant. Heavy breathing Voice over guy. Mechanic. Electron flow manager (charges the bike and go pro batteries). Sommelier. Visual Booster (Short guy to stand behind him in talking clips to make him look larger than life). Down Under Dude (Chamois luber and sprucer and all things rear end related). The list goes on.....
 
First 10 spaces now gone 40 remaining.

Did a bunch of ski seasons in Val, Tignes, St Foy back in the day. This summer is out for me, but lordy, how I miss that place. Beautiful part of the world & what's more, there's Croqburger in Tignes le lac, the greatest restaurant in the world!

Might sound stupid but was there a GPX file of this route? Be pretty interesting, I also clicked all the way through to order and it was about 1k if I remember.....I had one of my impulsive moments again then had to have a conversation with myself but I feel almost like it’s destiny for a noob to rise up and attempt a feat like this! ?

as much as I would love to do this, I think im just gonna do a tour of bike parks..
travelling to the shops is still stressful enough with all the mask nazi's about :D
