    Whyte E160RSX Plaudits from BikeRadar

Yes but the rub here is Whyte the new company. Once found at your local dealer, which have now been kicked out and they only supply to the big bike shops. Customer support seems to have gone, i’ve been waiting for a warranty part for more than a year. Its not a brand i’d look to buy from again.

What bike are you buying next?

I’d get a whyte E160, goes anywhere. Having said that I own one with no plans to change due to the cost of new, my plan is to keep it running and change parts as required. I would buy something that only has stock parts that can be replaced directly from a manufacturer, ie no custom batteries etc.

Article Kindernay VII internal gear hub review

i like the idea, however no mention of difficulties having to run 2 cables through an internally mounted frame. I think if I did this it would need to be a wireless setup.

Anyone with a well setup SRAM 10-52 cassette able to help?

i’d install the chain through the derailleur and put on largest cog , let all the air out of the shock and fully compress the suspension and see how slack the chain is and reduce links if the chain is to slack. That way you know you can use full travel without putting stress on the system.

Anyone with a well setup SRAM 10-52 cassette able to help?

Seem to recall when I did mine the SRAM video said. Round the largest cog with all the air out of the shock fully compressed plus 2 links.

Cold garage. Do I need a bike with removable battery?

I think over the years we have had a few issues from Focus owners who suffered a non charging issue but that was related to the model number of the charger supplied rather than the bike. I can’t recall any posts that directly related to bike issues from storing a bike in an outside garage or...
