Sram UDH hanger and burley balls through axle, anyone found a solution?

This screw extractor works if it's the normal "righty tighty". It's opposite thread then i'll just put an oversized lag bolt in there and screw it in clockwise. Regardless the idea is jam something in there that would get some kind of a bite turn it accordingly, likely ruining the internal thread.

Sram UDH hanger and burley balls through axle, anyone found a solution?

Hi Jim, I haven't had to take the hanger off yet. You can see in the attached photo what I'll be dealing with tho vs what it used to look like. This can't be a field repair so i'll be screwed if it happens on the trail. But, I plan on using something like these screw extractors to reverse it...

Sram UDH hanger and burley balls through axle, anyone found a solution?

Burley replied to an inquiry saying they do not currently have a solution for the UDH hanger. I made it work by drilling a 5/8 hole in the UDH nut to pass the throughaxle through. I realize that this will make the axle nut difficult to take off. And probably unusable after the fact. But if I’m...

Sram UDH hanger and burley balls through axle, anyone found a solution?

I bought a burley coho trailer and the double ended through axle needs to go all the way through. The UDH hanger is capped on the drive side so the trailer through axle can’t pass through. Any one found a solution for this? my hack would be to drill out the cap on the drive side so the burley...

Good mileage tan wall tires that can do some light trail work (not downhill)?

I’ve read that chunkiness has an effect on mileage so I am asking for recos for a tire that has shown good mileage and ok trail skills.

Good mileage tan wall tires that can do some light trail work (not downhill)?

Totally cosmetic reasons. It's a Levo and i'm thinking 38s on that would look pretty hilarious but not for me :)

Good mileage tan wall tires that can do some light trail work (not downhill)?

Testimonials plz, looking for mileage optimized tan wall tires. The trails i ride locally i can pretty much handle on my analog gravel bike running 38s. The trails are more fun on mtb but just giving some context for the tire demands. I'm looking for an emtb tire that is optimized for mileage...

    Shimano vs brose reliability

I have a levo to be delivered in March, plenty of time to over analyze. I’m concerned with the brose motor. i can fix a lot of things but don’t want to be waiting on or tearing into ebike motors. I just want to ride. Am I just seeing more“brose failed” threads than any because I’m in the...

Drivechain conversion from 12 to 9 speed

That said I run the micro shift 11/46 on my analog bike and it suits me just fine. 250 mile bike packing trip last year right after installing and not a hitch.

Drivechain conversion from 12 to 9 speed

Did you consider keeping your 12 speed so that you actually have a better chain line in the gears that you actually do use? If you go to 9 you’ll save a little weight but you’ll be cross chained more of the time.

Motor whine how bad is it anyway?

I've ordered a '22 levo alloy. A LARGE part of my decision is based on the widespread acceptance (at least in what i've read and seen) that the bros motor is the quietest hands down. Do you have side by side experience to share about the relative difference? All the top bikes are so close I...
