Need help choosing: Cube, Focus, Spec, Scott or other?

i have the cube 160 tm, 27.5 -no water ingress issues, the cabling is def unsightly (think they just use the largest cable and brake sets on every model regardless of size but a couple of velcro ties sorted that out) the spec of the components for the money did it for me

Sorry to hear this Bud, i had a couple of bikes stolen from my shed at the start of the first lockdown, one was later advertised for sale in Gorebridge, i phoned, mailed, tweeted and generally harrassed the police to do something and get the bike back, they didnt even visit him as far as i know...

moving the sensor magnet or adding another

i thought the same with the two magnets however on other brands of motors and bikes that you can programme it says to make the wheel diameter smaller in the software, thereby passing the sensor more times as well ?

moving the sensor magnet or adding another

which way round would it work ? how much gain from just moving the sensor within the limits it still recognises it, and would a second magnet make it faster or slower ? by all accounts changing wheel diameter in the software impacts it so what about magnet placement

    Not funny

there are numerous online places to log stolen bike serial numbers in the uk, bike checker, bike registry, check that bike and others, as the cop said to me they are mostly smarter than to sell the bike whole, usually stripped for parts, less profit but less chance of being caught, and as my...

bolting a water bottle mount to the battery cover

i agree it wasnt designed to take extra weight but that doesnt mean it wont< pretty sure that will hold a topeak bottle mount and tool no problem up near the release button at the top.

bolting a water bottle mount to the battery cover

simply because that one will be used, but only fits a 450ml bottle, a 600 scrapes the frame, also as i have the 160 tm which has a differrent piggy back rear shock, so much less space) so on long treks i need another bottle and somewhere to store tools for those treks too, and i dont want...
