GPS for ride recording and link to strava

Just as an alternative to the Garmins ... I have an Wahoo Elemnt Bolt. Love it. Its just been one of those things that 'just works', time in, time out for me. Whilst it generally needs the phone to be setup in the first place, it doesn't need it when out and about. I have mine setup that I...

    Mount Bosch Kiox on stem?

I've flipped my mount over so that the display sits in front of the stem. Doesn't get knocked anymore by my knees, or when I lean over the bars to open gates and things. Can be done by undoing the hinge bolt that the mount attaches to the arm and fitting the mount the other way round to the...

Which rear mudguard for Cube Stereo?

I fitted a MH rear to mine ... dont know what size it actually is ( in hindsight, i think a medium ). I was told that it would be fine for my large framed 2020 Stereo Hybrid. At a glance when fitted it is. Also when out and about, for the most part, it was too, but at higher speed, i would...

    Wet chain lube price ?

I guess it depends how precious you are about your chain. In short though, anything is better than nothing... So gear oil will be fine.

E-bike backpacks - have you found them worth it ?

Now I have an spare battery, and will be carrying it with me fairly regularly, I'm now looking at a newer backpack. Now there are a fair few bags out there, and this isn't a 'which one' type post ... its more whether or not if you have a e-bike specific bag, have you found the specific battery...

    Standard brake pads

Yeah, i see that some rotors say that these days. If it does, then for peace of mind, sticking with resin pads is probably the order of the day. Apparently discs get a different heat treatment for being able to handle sintered as they generate more heat build up. Using sintered on a resin...

    Standard brake pads

I've only ever known bikes to come with organic pads in my experience. Which don't last. I normall replace with sintered.
