knee/shin are better particularly if hardshell, as they cant be dragged down your leg as easily.
Mine have saved me more times than I care to remember:

Yes several have had warranty batteries. Mine was tested on the specialized battery testing rig thing, and it passed. I had the 3rd flashing light symptom too. It would randomly not turn on, it never failed once on though.
Issue went away after a new warranty battery .
I don't see how...
They are also selling an unusual collection of mobility scooters and sheds. The business address is a residential address, and with only a mobile phone number. Presumably this is someone importing and directing stuff straight to consumers, or is it all some sort of scam?
They must have removed them on the SL to save 0.0000001g weight.
you could remove the shock, and rotate the rear triangle to see if it frees off, most of the friction seemed to come from where it comes out of the main frame/motor area and into the chain stay.
Does the chain not still feel gritty after that though? if you twist the links, does it graunch with the grit, or does it feel completely smooth?
Might have to give this a go!
For £57 I don't think its worth your time to mess about with. Just buy a new one and put it down to experience.
Note that not all shops charge for warranty work like that. I've had loads and paid no claim charges.
Thats kind of where I'm at nowadays - just dont wash it at all. Causes too many problems! Only thing I keep clean is the chain/cassette. The frame and suspension get a wipe with a damp cloth, that's it.
Its kind of annoying but I go a lot of times a season so it doesn't work out a lot per visit.
The lack of maintenance is beginning to annoy. It could really benefit from staffing properly. Both to check tickets and do a little maintenance on both the trails and the trees etc. I can only...
I would personally check all the bearings by sticking a finger in and carefully feeling for any roughness or grittiness. Sometimes I take mine apart and they have completely seized up!
I'd recommend a bearing press set to change them , far easier and less prone to damage stuff. A bike one is...
I'd second that. Mine goes downhill rapidly about 18%. You can't expect the battery to give full power to the motor until its at 0%. I don't think any battery would work like that?
If you regularly use the whole battery perhaps consider a range extender or even 2nd battery.
