I have a 2022 Turbo Levo Comp Alloy I bought new in 11-2023, (it was a hold over that didn't get sold in '22) and has 630 miles on it. At some point it has developed an issue where if you are riding just over walking speed in a lower gear, and pedal just a couple rotations of the crank very aggressively, then stop pedaling and coast, the motor will over run for just a split second then stop, and a very noticeable "clunk" is felt through the crank arms/pedals. I've adjusted the shuttle and responsiveness and that had no effect on it.
If you do this in a higher gear and higher ground speed the clunk is much less noticeable getting to the point where it doesn't do it at all in higher gears and ground speed. With this exception, the motor runs fine and is very quiet. I'm curious if this is normal or an indication that problems are on the horizon for this motor?
I also have a Spec' Tero4X Turbo and although it has only the 50 nm motor it does not exhibit this issue at all like the Levo does.
I've read some about torque sensor and sprag clutch failures but haven't been able to find a problem identical to what I describe above. I'd be interested in anyone's replies that have had this issue and how it worked out.
Thanks very much!
