Have had my Expert carbon SL for a month or so now and love it. Only change is that it's going to the LBS next week to get the SRAM G2RSC's swopped out to XT 4 pots.
I'm in the market for a new road bike and was thinking of another Defy, this time with eTap Force shifting, however I am being...
Got caught in a torrential downpour this afternoon with my new Levo SL. Once back, dried it off and went to charge up, checked Mission Control first and got a warning message to remove TCU and check cables etc clean and dry. Took it out and a bit wet, so have dried it all off and it’s in a warm...
I had an Orbea Wild FS MTeam but had to sell it a month or so back due an accident and long term injury to my shoulder. If I get enough recovery I may be looking to buy a new eMTB in the autumn, so maybe a 2020 or 2021. I am not going to have the shoulder strength or mobility for any gnar...
I bought a brand new Orbea Wild FS M-Team at the end of last year from local bike shop, beautiful bike, orange one, in large, 7k bike. I had an unfortunate tumble on my first ride with an awkward landing resulting in a major shoulder injury, reconstruction surgery etc. Recovery is going to be a...
old school rider and recent ebike convert. In my early 50's and heading for shoulder reconstruction surgery later this week after a front wheel washout 5 weeks ago on a techy section and smashed shoulder. I'm going to be off the bike in rehab for 6 months I reckon and I think the time has...
Hi, took my new Orbea out fully charged the other day and unfortunately had a bad off, resulting in a broken shoulder. So the bike is tucked away for a few months as it will be 2020 before I can ride again, assuming the injury heals and strengthens.
The battery is at 95% though, which isn't...
New bike time, setup the app tonight and Bluetooth onto iPhone 7, all ok. I have a Garmin dual HR strap that is both ant+ and Bluetooth, which is BT connected to the phone. HR screen on the Kiox isn’t showing a reading though. Have only tried it inside, not moving.
What have I missed in the...
Having ridden regular bikes in soggy muddy west of Scotland for the past 20 years I have the cleaning regime pretty much sorted. Garden hose gun on sprinkle setting, muc off, brushes etc. So, first ebike arriving shortly.....do I need to be more careful with the water, avoid the motor area etc...
First eMTB arriving soon, and looking forward to getting it out on some frosty clear night rides (west of Scotland) . Wondering though what impact low single digit temperatures and mildly subzero has on the battery range - any experiences ?
I rode the 2019 Focus for a day in the summer and the 2020 version, with longer geometry and the new Bosch motor looks perfect on paper. Unfortunately I can only see it on paper as they are delayed to UK dealers, probably another month.
Had a test today on the new Levo Comp, in stock in my size...
anyone else patiently waiting ? I'm getting a Jam2 6.8Plus - shop was hoping to have it end of August/first week September but looks like towards end of September now as apparently Bosch can't supply the new motors quickly enough to meet demand.. (UK based)
Shortly taking delivery of a 2020 Focus Jam2, with the new Bosch motor. This will be my first ebike. I’ll be keeping it in an integral garage (west of Scotland) so winter temperatures regularly low single digits. What implications does this have for storage, and battery charging ?
coming as a e-mtb newbie, I am used to cleaning my chain with a park chain cleaner of similar, with bike on floor and back-pedalling the drivetrain through it. So that doesn't work with an e-mtb crankset, any tricks, tips ?
Have ridden regular bikes on and off road for decades, however due to a recently diagnosed heart problem, which isn’t going to go away, I am looking at a full suss ebike to replace my MTBs. Basically I need to keep my HR in ‘sweet spot’, so not exceeding 85% of max, as doing so is now higher...
Am going to get one of these as my first ebike, moving over from a full suss Giant Anthem. Had a good go on the 2019 one in Cairngorms the other week, albeit was a bit small in medium. I am 5ft 10.5, short legs (30.5) long back and looking at 2020 geometry pretty sure I’ll need the Large ?
