Cheers - I got it all off and looked inside, looks totally knackered and a ball bering fell out so I'll replace the whole lot if I can. DO you happen to know what the part is by any chance?
Hi folks - I am not quite a newbie, but I only recently decided that after the local bike shops all let me down, I would do all the tough bits myself. My cassette is wobbling all over the place, the free hub wiggle about 5-6 mm and is practically falling off. What parts do I need and what should...
New headlights on my Tesla cost me two grand, I suppose I am miffed all over!
I get 45k from a full charge doing all off road, up and down the South Downs using a mix of trail mode and turbo for these awful hills. That’s with the maxxis tyres you can see above which have been the best so far...
I got the Comp in Red, not sure how many K I’ve done in a year but I think it must be 4-5,000, have really tried to get out rain or shine!
On my third cassette, fourth chain, fourth set of tyres, third pads, bled brakes twice. Had to warranty the first cassette and the dropper once.
If it was a...
Cheap steel cassette is what I’m after - in general I think it’s a con that you can pay 7000 for a bike and it wears out with mild use! I’ve not changed the brakes on my Tesla in 90,000 miles!
Appreciate that thanks - I mean, unless we’re talking kilos I reckon I can’t tell the difference, I’m riding at 150kg fully loaded! I’m going to look this up right now huge thanks
Before anyone says "technique at me, I'm 123KG and 2.02m, I am heavy handed and thats just not going to change so it's replacement parts made of something more durable than whatever the stock parts are please!
I was recommended Sun Race?
Cheers for any pointers !
That’s not really true - at least not any significant changes. Yeah, maybe, if you squint you can see a 1-2% difference in those things - nothing else.
OP - keep your cash. If your bike does everything you need now and the battery is good you are missing out on nothing at all.
Turns out this was a great idea thank you - I got some low, 100% synthetic walking shoes from China on eBay in a size 15 for £26 all in - a reminder you don’t need special shoes!
