Does anyone know if the pcb’s in ebike motor’s are high temp rated or ? My motor is cutting off and it gets so hot 🥵 I burn my hand if I try to touch it after a 15 min climb. The solution that was provided was a patch to Raise the high temp cut out to even higher! How hot really is too hot ?

My Giant dealer wants to charge me for installing warranty parts within the first six months, is this normal ? They aren’t charging for the part but for the labour to install the faulty in warranty part. This somehow doesn’t seem right. Why should the customer have to pay anything for something...

Hey , I was glancing at a Yamaha ebike owner’s manual and happened to notice that under motor stats it said “Maximum 30 min power .” What exactly does that mean, it can’t mean the obvious can it , cause that doesn’t make sense to me anyway. 🧐

This bike has been unbelievable and I loved it until… It started to shut down just for a split second on climb’s then it progressed to a flashing red light at the top and a limp mode instigated. Turning bike off for a second and back on reset everything and I am good to go for about 10 minutes...

That’s right Giant has chosen to keep that hidden just incase we might be able to repair ourselves. How silly of me. I guess it’s into the LBS to find out what a top flashing red light and limp mode is all about. 20 minutes into a climb and my zero let me down. Stay tuned. 🧐

Does anyone have a plug to cover the 25m battery tightening/loosening hole ? I noticed that the rubber grommet on my 22 Regin doesn’t come close to sealing against the screw housing. There was at least a 1/4” gap, so I loosened off the two screws that hold the assembly in place and slid it over...

Does anyone know what the LBS does with an old motor that’s replaced under warranty ? I sure would like a couple 😬
