My wife got me a skydio for my birthday...Here's the first trail ride with some buddies

Just sharing. The drone is pretty rad. This was a really easy local trail (our friend was out riding for the first time in like 25 years so we kept it simple). As for the bikes, I'm riding a trek rail 7, one friend is on a 2019 Haibike allmtn 3.0, another on the 2020 allmtn 2.0 and another on a...

What is this piece on the motor and is it right to look like this?

Hi, it’s certainly possible that I’ve just never noticed it before but it seems kind of strange. It’s only viewable on the left side and getting low and the pedal out of the way. I’m referring to the little silver piece at about 5 o’clock… Anyone know?

Anyone change the stem or bars to get their hands a bit higher?

I'm really trying to nail down my position on the bike and when I have the saddle in the perfect position for pedaling (i.e. top of the dropper, knee to pedal line, right height, saddle level (and tried a couple degrees back also), etc) I find that it puts too much pressure on my hands and I get...

    Still having annoying creaking problems

Hi all, I’ve been trying to solve the case of the awful creaking. It isn’t the motor mounts, the crank or the linkage. I think it’s the frame itself. Like. The aluminum. Check this out. What do you make of it? https://youtube.com/shorts/URGtJNyyvxk?feature=share

Hi guys, Ive been hearing a lot of creaking on my rail and I just figured out where-it’s the battery tube cover. Check out the video. Is this much “play” and movement and sound (creaking) normal? thanks! https://youtube.com/shorts/RvVPK4HAniY

Bash guard at chainring on Trek Rail?

Hi! I’m trying to understand if I can fit a bashguard at the chainring. It looks like I can (I see a third bolt spot that is empty) but I searched first before posting and found another comment that Gen 4 Bosch motor doesn’t accept a bashguard. So I’m confused. Here is the sort of thing I’m...

I don’t know if I am cursed or my bike is...

I have had the worst luck. The bike has had to go to the shop as often as I’ve been on it to ride. it’s only been on like six rides and Trek has replaced both front and rear rotors and calipers, the dropper post and it’s been completely taken apart and put back together at the trek corporate...

Yet another problem with my brand new (3 rides) rail.

The dropper post has seemed a bit sticky from the beginning. It’s now stopped functioning right. I adjusted the tension of the cable and even loosened the collar to verify it isn’t tight. Sometimes it doesn’t actuate at all. I have to hop on it and I can hear it grinding on its way up and down...

Does anyone have mono-link set to the high position on their rail?

Just curious...I did a search on the forum and it seems that everyone who mentions monolink seems to put it at low. It makes sense since the rail already climbs like a billy goat, but I was curious all the same :)

Improving high speed stability on Rail 7 - CushCore?

Hi all! Been getting more miles on my Rail 7 and really enjoying it! I “upgraded” from a Haibike xduro that was honestly very similar but had the older Bosch motor and I wanted more power and better clearance from the trek. I hit too many rocks and my wife was kicking my butt up hills lol. After...

Just picked up a 2021 Trek Rail 7...first ride and big concern

Hi all, I had a Haibike AllMtn 3.0 and decided to upgrade to the rail for better ground clearance (was having a ton of pedal strikes) and the new Bosch motor. The good news is that the rail is awesome in those regards. Great geometry and it climbs like a goat! Love that. However, I had a real...
