Sensible price at Halfords. By coincidence put a CN-M7100 on wife's Trek Rail this morning (chains last her about 500 miles, I guess because she crunches through the gears?).

Raceface Era 160mm carbon cranks. Slightly shorter than the 165mm OEM alloy cranks.

New cranks for the Fuel EXE.


Alloy Fuel EXE 165mm cranks.

Alloy Rail 9.7 165mm cranks.

Hardware included during weighing.

I bought a hope ebike hub but it's gonna lead to new rim and spokes too

I think it's the same one SLX m7100 from crc for £24.99.

Yeah, sort of component that's never really discounted much anywhere. Can pick them up on Ebay for £20ish but not if you need one quick, obvs.

Used the last of my brake oil so had to order some more and bought the rest to get some free postage... I'm sure there is some logic in there somewhere.

Its funny i bought a bleed kit as well but then I learned doing a gravity bleed was the easiest instead of the tubes and stuff. Theres a youtube vid from a santacruz team mechanic that shows how to do it.

I agreed, this is the easiest way to bleed your Shimano brakes. And it really works.

Caveat to gravity bleed, not so good an idea with DOT brake fluid, unless you want to strip the paint from the caliper.

Could also be that I need to convert the Levo to a mineral oil brake set someday...

All ready to ride with my modified 150mm cranks down from 175mm for my KSL which is impossible to find short cranks for. Thanks to @G-Sport for his help in sourcing the Praxxis Creo 1.1 road bike cranks and idea.

The snake is carved out of beached drift wood lost from the local log booms off Spanish Banks. If you liked that, how about a giant frog!
