I got the Park Tool THH Hex set for Christmas and think they're awesome. Someone on here made me aware that there's a torx set too (THT). I considered ordering it, but then thought that £130 was a bit steep for the torx set considering I only really use the T25 (on Magura brakes). I discovered I could buy JUST the T25 on it's own for £17... so that's what I did!

I love the fact that a torx key can potentially cause "Cancer and Reproductive Harm"! I believe that's something printed on pretty much everything from California though?

Like most of you 😉, when I order something online and anxiously wait for the postal lady to deliver the item, I behave like an obsessive dog peering through the window.(see YouTube for examples).
I finally found the Oury grips.…but the pic is of my neibours set. I’ll explain.

I ordered three sets of these. One for my neighbour and two for myself. The dropper lever is for my nephew. The grips were $44 CDN. (Probably $8 anywhere else).

When the package arrived I quickly installed the new Oury grips on two of my bikes and recycled the plastic packaging. Not quite Xmas-frenzy mode …but pretty close. My wife noticed that I disappeared for a while and I just pretend like nothing happened when I return.

Wait! No chance for pics. I still have my neighbor’s item in the original packaging. Whew 😥.

Now don’t judge me. I may have a problem with grips.

FYI, I’m seeking help.😉

I have the same problem with gloves.
But I'm not seeking help.

Once you've used the oury grips, the rest will be going in the bin!:ROFLMAO:

Just rode the Fuel with these new Oury grips. My hands are happy 😃. I’ve always envy’d my neighbor who’s been using them for years. Both bikes feel better now. I think these are the largest diameter grips available (?).

Regarding the other collection of grips …clean them up and use them for stocking-stuffers. Xmas Done! 🎅🏼

To be honest they look like they’re made of recycled plastic. Have you used these yourself then?
No, I'm only joking, although I have some Nukeproof carbon riser bars on my spare bike and they seem ok.
But I picked up a 35mm diameter Burgtec stem and bars from Stif mountain bikes for £50 and they are a lot better at absorbing trail chatter than the carbon bars are

Installed a 2024 Fox Factory Float X2 shock on the Turbo Levo yesterday and went for a ride. It nicely complements the Cane Creek Helm fork installed recently.

So far, the ride is worlds better than before. Very confidence inspiring, and the suspension is now so smooth it has mostly eliminated the numb hands and sore shoulders that inspired the purchases.

Now, just have to spend some time dialing them both in.

Somehow, these purchases have triggered an odd Monsoon season that has managed to target rain on every weekend for the past month.
