Keep getting neck pain on my Levo. I’m fine on my normal bike, wondering if it’s one of the following.

1. stem to short 35mm
2. Bars to tall 38 rise
3. Bike to long

I have a specialized enduro with a completely different set up I can ride all day.

That’s a large s4, 35mm rise bars, 50mm stem.

I’m 6,2 so geared towards S5/XL

Wearing a heavy helmet can certainly cause neck pain especially if your riding position on the Levo makes you lean too far forward.....meaning you have to hold your head higher to see where you are going!! In terms of your suggestions I would have thought the reach may be too long. You could try a shorter stem, moving the saddle forward on its rails, higher rise bars, lowering the saddle..........all of which would help to raise your torso and make for a more relaxed neck angle.

Another possibility is that you are being shaken to bits due to poor suspension set up!!

The only thing I will add here is regular strength training and stretching/conditioning eradicates all aches and pains on the bike for me. I used to get lower back pain many years ago when time trialling which I sorted through my training.

Active gym goer! This is the only
Bike I get this issue on so assume it’s setup related. Going try taking some rise off the bars

Ha. Might be worth comparing Geos not just stem length. As this will give you a good baseline if you are trying to replicate you Enduro setup.

Neck pain is usually associated with a low stack / longer reach as you are looking up more - so check and compare Geos not just individual component specs. 👍🏼

Swapped to the specialized standard bars i had laying around at 30mm rise. Neck pain massively reduced, im quite a active/playful rider.. found the 38 bars where putting strain on my neck.. i run 35mm on every other bike but surely 3mm cant make that much difference!
