I removed all the bolts, cleaned them and re-did the locktite. The creak went away, but the rhythmic click didn't. Same side, same place under moderate load, esp when warm. I also changed over the cranks and pedals. It must be the left floating bearing in the motor...?!!?

I've found a bottle carrier bracket for £5 on Amazon, so ordered that to see anyway. The guys at my local bikeshop are going to reverse the main connector port when they service the bike for its annual warranty inspection, so should be fine after that!!

One of Rob's recent vid is a critique on the lack of backwards and cross platform compatibility. He made a point in there that the previous Bosch units simply won't work with the newer ones...The phone seems to now mirror the KIOX screen if that helps.

I have a similar setup - I've got a 8000 lumens MagicShine on the bars - gets too hot for anywhere else anyway! - and 800 (from memory) as a helmet light. The shadows are reduced enough to make it worth it by the helmet light.

I agree, it’s hard work over 25kph. The prev Bosch was the same though.
