strange, my 130 could not find the ebike, so i didnt get it working. Bought a 530 instead and works fine. but the size of the 130 was much better for enduro riding. so to answer your question, no, with the rs app all works great.

I have a rear one here but dont think it will protect the linkage... it has a gap at the end near the linkage
