I have been waiting for almost a year for some accessories promised by Raleigh/Haibike in compensation for poor service :rolleyes:. My bike shop has chased them numerous times but I was told on Friday that there is now a new rep so things might improve…..

OK. I just went and did what I have always done. Plug in bike, switch on charger. Bike switches on, charges and switches off. My last time (when I had to switch the bike on to get it to charge) must just have been a one-off glitch.

I just plug it in to the bike and then switch on the power to the charger. But strange you should ask as last time I then had to also switch on the bike for charging to begin. I am sure (??) that previously the bike switched itself on automatically.

I am a little the same and given the current lack of spares and accessories (some on order for over a year) I fear for future availability. My Flyon is behaving perfectly now and when carrying camping/fishing stuff up steep hill tracks then it is absolutely brilliant for my needs. But otherwise...

A heavily loaded Haibike earning its keep! (Tent and other camping equipment, plus float tube, waders and fishing tackle). Climbed 1000ft on a rough track in a bit over 5 miles and with generous use of “high” used 45% of the battery. Very happy as no way could I have backpacked in with all that kit.

Like Sidepod not your specific issue but last week, for the first time, I could not obtain the option to switch the bike off. It kept taking me to the “reset all values” page. Eventually I did the reset and I could get to the ”off” option. Might be user error as it seems fine now.

Sorry to hear of your problems. Apart from the information i have posted previously, both my friend’s and my Flyons have been faultless with no more error messages. However, we are never out in temperatures as low as you are experiencing and like you rarely are out in rain.

Never been told not to wheel backwards and probably have but not more than a few feet to get through gates etc. My initial problems were caused by a damaged control box/wiring issue (noticed by LBS on PDI) and the months waiting for a replacement. Then a (very) slightly out-of-alignment speed...

Whatever its in. I know how annoying this problem can be as it did not work at all on my last bike.
