Weird Reversed Stem Geo / Chat

Well, the raised reversed stem, high bar setup seems to be working for Reese Wilson. I haven't finished the race yet, but he’s currently in the hot seat ahead of Asa Vermette and Jackson Goldstone!

Without belittling the guy, that's not 'working', sure, it worked in Andorra, can't argue... but until he starts putting it regularly at the pointy end, i'm not sure i can agree. He did AMAZINGLY this weekend, sure... no argument. But lets not all get crazy here.

Also when they setting 'works' at that level, they are talking half a second or so. Nothing 99% of mortals would notice. Placebo effect is bigger for most riders

Who is getting crazy? I didn’t say anything crazy? What I said is true. I said it seems to be working for him and it clearly was. If it wasn’t, he wouldn’t have qualified, much less finished second place in the finals. It’s pretty simple really, It’s not hard, don’t overthink it man. He got second in the world that day, it’s working for him and the rest of his team.

I don’t even know WTF you’re trying to say here. Are you trying to say that most riders can’t feel the difference with a cockpit that is totally different than the usual setup? Or most riders can’t feel a difference between a low bar and a regular stem vs a high rise bar and reversed high rise stem? And if they like it, and have success on it, it’s just a placebo effect? That’s crazy.

I'm saying what a world cup racer say means nothing to the average rider. They are chasing fractions of a second. It will of cause feel different. But so much is in your head. If someone says its amazing before you try it, people will say it's great. But for the average rider it will make next to no difference.

If anything the world cup now shows, all bikes are good now. The difference is the rider. Bit they still have to sell something new
