2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

That's great to hear, I wonder why they don't say that on their site? Or maybe I just missed it.

I think Orbea wanted most people to use the 750w peak power and originally wanted to keep it as that. At the press camp they were limited to 750w in RS tune.

At the press camp, I mentioned that I wished the 750w and RS tune was able to be customised to 1300w. For heavier riders etc. And that 1300w is just fun in some cases. I am sure others likely mentioned the same feedback also

Last minute after the press camp, I got an email saying that 1300w was now available, with full RS tune 🎉

Only 750w is definitely a deal breaker for me personally, as I'd rather have one with full power all the time like all other Avinox bikes and then adjust the modes to my own liking, but otherwise it looks like a great bike.

Any weights available per model ?

M10 & H-Team are almost the same price & specs, but carbon vs aluminum.

Overwall I find their pricing structure pretty good and the value of some other bikes offered by the competiton is very questionable.

Mine in XL with DH tyres and alloy wheels is 23.7KG

one cs length for all sizes

I'm squarely on a size L so this doesn't affect me on most bikes, but for an XL (or small), I can see that being an issue for others.

The thing is that this bike should have a LOT of forward weight bias with that long skinny 800wh Avinox battery. So, I can't help but think that offsets some of that geo perceived rearward weight bias.

Is that 1300w available in the stock ride modes or ONLY on custom modes? And can you make a custom AUTO mode with full peak power?

lol, tens of pages of whining about a limit, all for nothing :D

Also, influencers say Axinox is better power delivery (excluding Alex), then Orbea changes power delivery dramatically (5x more responsive!) to more closely mimic Bosch power delivery and suddenly influencers have been trying to get more response from the Avinox and THIS is now in fact better.

Just saying...

yes, let all your FOMO out :)

I don't have an issue with the response of the M1, let alone the M2s.

Bundling the crappy 4a chargers on 6k+ bikes should be a crime.

I thought I'd LOVE the integration, but I feel that the dropper comes with a few to many compromises based on early reviews and what good is a 12-speed transmission on a full power e-bike anyways unless the motor dies? Also, I love my coil shock so the powered rear shock, while very interesting to me, comes with too many catches like an uber expensive build and, well, it's not a coil.

Really liking the idea of lower anti-squat with an electronic locking shock as my terrain is very pedal dependent and also very chunky. This could feel amazing. But my coil is accomplishing this already to a very high degree but I do truly wish that I could test this personally.

And still, no chain ring protection! :(

Can't wait to hear more about this beast but I'm also still glad I have my '26 Wild.

I’m guessing the remote kind of limits bar options to ones that have a cable hole? Wonder what the plug side looks like and how big the hole in the bars has to be. I guess could run through headset too but would have the other wire there.

Rob, would you choose the Orbea electronic hard wired dropper, an AXS, a OneUp, or something else on the new Wild if you were buying?

Let's assume price doesn't matter and you can get anything you'd like?

I would go Oneup 240mm. Cheap, light.

Or I'd try AXS 250mm, because it will fit no probs. But weight(and cost)penalty.

the delay in response he mentioned in the review sounds like a bummer.

No. Around here at least it seems like the 12A is hard on batteries. 4A is plenty fast for charging at home. I have both and only use the fast during lunch breaks on big days. But including both would be nice. But that's also like saying is should come with appropriate tires and not weak resin pads. But both those things are common practice from many brands.

You can't make a custom mode similar to AUTO that adapts power output based on sensor data? Auto on the avinox is amazing, I barely even use the other modes.
That's what I was wondering.

Is the RS tune just a more responsive start? I actually like the current power delivery and think it's a strength of the Avinox. It's what gives that smooth natural feeling.
But the best option is to allow the user to tune the motor to however they want it - I wouldn't be surprised if Avinox rolled this out in a future update.

Hopefully someday we'll just have a switch on a single charger so that we can choose the charging rate. I'm using a 2A charger and honestly, it's really slow! Not an issue so far but I could see it being a problem eventually.

Just for background info, and awareness of other systems capabilities- The TQ system let's you choose between 4amp charging and 2 amp charging using the app.
