Orbea has lifted the covers on the new 2027 Wild LT, and this is a fairly major shift for the Wild platform.

But the bigger story is probably what Orbea is trying to do with the bike as a whole. This is not just a motor swap into the existing Wild. Orbea is positioning the Wild LT as a proper long-travel, gravity-focused eMTB, taking influence from the Rallon and Rallon DH projects while moving the Wild platform into a more aggressive space.

All the Wild LT models listed in the 2027 range use the DJI Avinox M2S motor system. 1300w peak, 150Nm peak torque. And Orbea's RS tune on the motor, giving a faster startup and more aggressive power ramp at lower RPM.

Ignore any reports about 750w max power. Thats in the default Orbea modes.

1300w is available, with the RS tune as the base tune, so all the benefits of their excellent tune, with full power if you create your own modes (up to 5 user configureable modes)

@Rob Rides EMTB a few quick questions:

Can you confirm that the BB height in the geo chart you shared is correct? Is BB height really 360.5 in high / 352.5 in low setting?
And how does the geo chart look like for the mullet setup?

waiting for bluepapers
:)

M-team-> M-LTD + 2701€ for better Sram stuff. (drivetrtain+brake). i can buy this extra for half the price.
doesn't make sense.

So using the Avinox app you can program the modes as with any other M2S bike?

According to the geo chart, that is correct. If i remember correctly the MX geo is preserved with the rear rocker link change. So it should be the same give or take a couple mm.

That being said, I measured my full 29er XL in HIGH with 180mm fork at 355mm so I think their chart is off a bit.

cat 5 ? i thought the motor is only cat. 4 rated. and double crown fork ? WTF ? Thats cool. I mean i have a DC in my old wild. but that was not rated for it.

thanks for the Vid @Rob Rides EMTB a lot of good information

I spoke to Avinox about the cat 4 thing a while ago.

They have never actually rated their motor. Its not cat 4 / cat 5 or anything. It has come from a bike brand assuming it was a cat 4. So as of June 2026 there is no official cat rating on Avinox motors.

And yep - DC rated!

Hi Rob 👋 do you know of its possible to minic the RS tune on any avinox bike to get that punchier input ? Or have orbea made a hardware change to the m2s

Not possible at the moment. I have tried for ages to get it to feel a bit punchier.

The RS tune is very good. As of now, its unique to Orbea.

That looks really decent. Dual crown compatible (that was promised for velduro but never materialised) plus there appears to be cable routing for those of us who dont want wireless gears and dropper.
Good job orbea 👍
Now make it available frame only.
Agree.

Sadly no plans for frame only.

one cs length for all sizes

Yeah, I think this is a miss to be honest. Wish it had the same as the Rallon.

My XL with 180mm fork is about 875mm front centre according to my tape measure. Pretty skewed FC:RC ratio

DJI remote - wireless.

Orbea... a cable through the handlebar - the headset to the display. great !
WTF ????

It controls the motor modes, shock, dropper and needs power.

Dont like it? Ditch it and use the stock Avinox stuff. It will work just as a stock Avinox bike does. Just need to use a non Orbea dropper and you're good.

Pretty dissapointed and the non size specific chainstays, but the H20 base models is a great price at £4,899!

Only 750w is definitely a deal breaker for me personally, as I'd rather have one with full power all the time like all other Avinox bikes and then adjust the modes to my own liking, but otherwise it looks like a great bike.

You can set it to full power by adding a custom mode.

They seem to have been overly conservative with the geo.

1.94 f/r ratio for the xl.
Those are some 2014 numbers.
1.87 for the large, which is more in line with modern very conservative/older geo.
Medium is the only decent size.

It looks nice... no chance I'd buy one with that geo, unless I was a size medium.
Super disappointing, as the integration and features are amazing.
