Has anyone had any issues with your Zendit or does your M2s have a rattle?

It looks like ROB209 is having a few issues, I dont think he has posted on this thread tho, but he did post here ........

I only have about 100 miles on my Zendit and she's still quiet as a mouse.

I know a few German guys whose motor bolts had loosened slightly, which caused some rattling. That wasn’t on a Mondraker, though, but I think that can of course happen with any brand.

Great ride today

I'm curious how this thing rides for the average rider. So far the reviews point towards its a race bike and needs to be ridden hard.

Most of the reviews I have seen said just that, it's a race bike that needs to be ridden hard.

But this is the first review I have seen that says it does everything really well. Anything you throw at it, It handles with ease.

So I agree way more with this review. You can ride however you like, Fun and playful, Yes !! Slower and easy, sure or as a Race Rocket, it does it all extremely well.

Hmm what I got out of jeffs's review was its a race bike and he loved it. The dude can ride so it would make sense it fits him.

Pay closer attention to what he says starting at around the 12 min range, where he calls it ... Extreamley accommodating to everyone.... so no mater your riding style the Zendit is very balanced and a rare blend of, does it ALL Extreamley Well.

Ive never thought of Jeff as a boy racer, he's an amazing all around rider, who loves to have a fun playfull time, so it was cool to see him doing just that on the Zendit !!

I have just over 100 miles on my Zendit and can personally attest it's a great all-round bike that performs well on various trail conditions.

I'm not a racer, but no slouch either. I'm sure it would perform well for a hard-core racer or more aggressive rider, but I've been very impressed on well this bike rides and handles various types of trails.

A couple of my previous bikes were great racers (Yeti 160e & Specialized Kenevo) and the faster you rode them, the better they performed. The engineering and technology that went into the frame design on the Zendit is legit. Very stable rear end when climbing, front wheel tracks much better then my previous Wilds (even with a more powerful motor) on steep climbs and tight switchbacks and the Zero Suspension Technology improves how the bike descends.

My custom Zendit is a little better of a climber than my last 2 Orbea Wilds and a better descender. I only compare it to them because the Zendit reminds me many ways on how versatile the Wild was and how fun it was to ride.

Haven't been able to ride the new Avinox powered Wild and am a little reluctant to compare bikes that have different components, but out of all the bikes I've owned, borrowed and rented if I had to choose one it would be the Zendit.

Also, to be transparent I literally changed every component, nut and bolt on my Zendit (as I do on most of my bikes) to my personal preference s so it may have different riding charteristics then the stock RR model reviewed in the video.

Legit critiques on the Zendit are the limited length dropper you can run plus the stock rear shock & wheelset dont seem to be on the same level as the rest of the bike.

It's a very exciting time right now to be an emtb enthusiast and there are lots of great bikes to choose from!

Spoken by an actual Zendit owner!

I find it is an accessible and forgiving bike, but it definitely shines if you can push it. Especially if you run it full 29 (which I do).

For example, at one end of the spectrum the Dreadnaught E. It is awesome, but if one is not already a ripper, I do not think they would get along with that bike.

If budget is a bit of a consideration, and you are more of a ‘just happy to be out there’ rider, who does not push things, the Zendit is fine, but not the best value, if you compare it to a YT or similar M2S equipped bike. I don’t think you’d notice much difference.

There's a vid on yootoob where a guy riding one of these catches and then keeps up with a couple of petrol bikers and they have to stop and let him go by. That'll have the Avinox haters reaching for the tissue box. 😂
...and the Avinox fanboys as well, but for a different reason. :P

Saw the video but worth mentioning :

- even with the Class 3 mode he was only 4 to 5 mintues faster on a 45 min ride . Do you ride class 3 in places not allowed ? 🙄
- it consumed 15% more battery
- the ride feel was the same and enjoyed both bikes

That's a LOT faster and a fair bit more energy useage too.

Importantly, he had the exact same fun on the lower settings. If everyone is capped at the same power, the fun will remain I assure you.

No power discussion from me here ;)
I ordered my Zendit solely on preferences regarding geometry, suspension design and travel, aswell as intended use. Living in the italian alps I think it will be a rather awesome companion for my riding. From my door I can basically climb about 1.600m - 2.000m in one take. The same applies for the descents.:giggle:

Anyway, reading about the new Orbea Wild, it got me thinking if there is an aftermarket option for a 600Wh battery?
I'd genuinenly be happy riding with reduced power to compensate the reduced capacity of the battery in favor of a lower center of gravity and a lighter bike!
Is it possible to mount the smaller battery in the Zendit? And if so, where can you buy the smaller one?

That "faster" can be atributed to :

5 min faster to 45 min ride is - 10 to 12% faster.

being able to go to 28 mph instead of 20 mph is 40% higher top speed so that faster is mostly atributed to being able to go above the higher limit. The trail was quite flat so it make sense.

For higher mountain terain, then it won't make that much of a difference. Anyway...

Aaaaand we're off. Again...
well , you started it a false / hyped claim . What was your intention ? But I'll leave you to it, to engage in this is childish.

My intention was to inject a little humour into this forum. You are obviously too po faced to get that. I prefer salt and vinegar on my chips thanks...
