I found it on Amazon.ca. There were a few different models but I wanted the digital one.Where from? I like it.
did it get bent?Otoh I bought a Toopre chain checker & it told me a brand new chain was over 1.5 so swings & roundabouts.
I agree. There’s a time to get digital and a time to get analog.Yup I got the digital as my analogue one is a bit vague.
I went with the Park Tool chain checker and some other type. I guess I could use droop-test and use a part of my anatomy as reference.Otoh I bought a Toopre chain checker & it told me a brand new chain was over 1.5 so swings & roundabouts.
It was the swing arm type. I chucked it & bought a Calvin special.did it get bent?
I have one and it 'seems' fine

the alu valve caps were shyte though - seized onto one of my car wheel valves - had to cut it off
Madness doing it yourself. I would rather rebuild forks than apply that!Received Invisiframe for the Levo R to protect and pop the color.View attachment 185837
I'm too cack handed for anything intricate. Could break an anvil though.Madness doing it yourself. I would rather rebuild forks than apply that!

When a professional with top notch reputation is doing it I get warranty is done perfect and my OCD will kick in if I find a tiny foult when doing a thorough inspection - he won't dare to disappoint me
I'm very satisfied with Schwalbe radial tires but will try the new Specialized radial tires since they are much cheaper.Magic Mary radial (Gravity Pro Casing / Addix Ultra Soft) for the front, Albert radial (Gravity Pro Casing / Addix Soft) for the rear. The Maxxis (Assegi & Dissector) are OK but hoping for a bit more traction on tech climbs with the radials at a lower pressure.
It looks like the Specialized ($89.99 on the Specialized website) are about $20 (US) cheaper than the Schwalbe ($108). I'm having trouble finding the Specialized radials on my normal tire websites but do see existing stock of non-radial Specialized tires at deep discounts. I'm assuming they're clearing old models out for the new radials. I've purchased the Schwabe Alberts's for $81 on sale and since I like their grip, will probably stick with them. I didn't have any problem with the grip on the non-radial Specialized Butchers that came stock on the Levo however, I got less than 350 miles out of the back before it was shot.I'm very satisfied with Schwalbe radial tires but will try the new Specialized radial tires since they are much cheaper.
You need to get a pro set everything up for you by the sounds of it. Expensive but worth it if you are a bit ???I just ordered the new Mezzer LT Pro G2.
I've had a coil converted fork for a couple of years but was never able to get it exactly correct so decided to try something different.
The USD fork options, particularly from Intend and Cane Creek look very very good. However early reviews of the new G2 praise its suppleness and lack of stiction, and I think on my rock-strewn trails, that's a particularly good attribute in a fork.
The G2 does it at a good weight and price as well. They do sell a lighter trail version but this is an e-bike and I didn't want to chase grams over absolute performance.
At 2230 grams that's about .5kg right off the very front of the bike compared to other contenders such as Flash 38, CC USD, new Zeb, etc. If a 1 kg battery change from 800wh to 600wh makes such a difference in the downtube, then shouldn't a .5 kg difference at the very front of the bike matter about the same amount?
My trails are decidedly 'All Mountain' so I definitely want my bike set up ideal for my reality. Sadly, there are no all-day Alpine missions over here.
Where from? I like it.
Lighter tyres
