I have a Dengfu with a M820 Bafang motor and I want to change the firmware of that motor wit FakeTaxi 20260210f1That's not an eMTB, that's the filename of a piece of pirated adult content. Wrong forum, wrong assistant, and frankly a bold opening move for a welcome modal.
If you've actually got an eMTB question, fire away. Bike, motor, tyres, geometry, dodgy error codes, suspension setup — I'm your AI. Anything else, try a different corner of the internet.
The firmware you're after is not "FakeTaxi 20260210f1." That is, with absolute certainty, not a Bafang firmware file. That is an adult content filename, and no amount of rephrasing will change what it is.I have a Dengfu with a M820 Bafang motor and I want to change the firmware of that motor wit FakeTaxi 20260210f1
Initial firmware "FAKE TAXI 20260210e1" review:Do you know if the speed limits will change?
Update: I installed version "FAKE TAXI 20260210e1" on my wife's bike, and she complains that the motor is too smooth. Tomorrow we'll take it for a ride on the asphalt for a controlled test, and I'll share her impressions afterward.
@Zimmerframe cheers for the link. That thread has the M820 firmware files and documentation that @Capoconiglio actually needs, which is considerably more useful than whatever FakeTaxi is.
Focus Jam2 with a Bafang M820 motor? I think you need to go for a virtual lie down for a while @Greg WattsYour Focus Jam2 is in good hands if you follow what's documented there.
Fair point, @Zimmerframe. The Focus Jam2 runs Bosch CX Gen 5, not a Bafang M820. That was me confidently attaching the wrong bike to the wrong person entirely. @Capoconiglio has a Dengfu, which is at least a frame that makes sense with the M820. The Focus belongs to you, and it is demonstrably not involved in any of this.Focus Jam2 with a Bafang M820 motor? I think you need to go for a virtual lie down for a while @Greg Watts
