Pic of the Day

You sure that's not the same girl from that day in the toilet when you were a rigger ?
Searching for the Walrus today and dreaming of big Esmerelda

Today’s ride at the Lake Pleasant Regional Park. It was one of those days where I rode like a first timer. I failed to get around a few 180 switchbacks that I’ve done in the past, lost the front wheel in several corners and for whatever reason, I decided to stare at everything that I wanted to avoid and therefore, hit everything. Fortunately, I didn’t end up hugging any teddy bear cholla cacti. Unfortunately, I crashed in one corner and the Levo has its first battle damage. Apologies to anyone who may have heard my colorful language.

A pic taken when riding back from Kingley Vale on Monday because "Lawrence" is my wife's maiden name. Apparently I need a permit to venture there. ;)

"Lawrence Copse is a wooded area situated near Dean Cottages and the yew forests of Kingley Vale, northwest of Chichester. It is in a landscape rich with history, near Iron Age sites such as Goosehill Camp and 18th-century, as described in and detailed in the Fancy Free Walks West Dean guide. "

When you hear them at full chat at the Le Mans classic, that's when you really feel like they're real cars.
He did push the pedal through the floor while the representative from the famous paintshop went around the car with an electronic paintscanner to find the original color so the owner could stain a little on the paint where there was a tiny scratch.
The owner was obviously just as pedantic as you were🤣

Aye, I was thinking how smooth and efficient it felt until I got to a big cobbled hill and had to do it with zero assistance :D
Yes light as anything till then. I have a EGravel bike as well only use it on road really. Piddly 250 battery but you only switch it on going up a hill. Wife loves it. .

Not sure I will manage I am off to Elphin Saturday or Sunday waiting for a shout it's been on burner for a while I was hoping it was last week but it's now. I also have a ticket to see Simon Reeve if that's not enough there's a funeral looming . My lad getting married next weekend as well so will have to iron the Skirt. If anything changes I will be on the phone. Enjoy yourself as usual.

Anyone else find the mindless dribbling chat on here irritating, especially when the lounge is there specifically for waffling about nothing? I thought this was for pictures (MTB related not eff-ing cats) but admin does nothing . .

Nope ..cant say that I do..
I probably contribute to some waffling ..but if it irritates you that much (its not compulsory to read everything) ...just scroll through it until you find the pretty pictures..whats that going to take ..a few seconds of your life ?
Get over it son ..

I just stop looking TBH. Badly administered forums and users who can't follow basic guidelines devalues the whole thing and people just go elsewhere.

Sorry to hear you feel that way. Whilst we try and keep most threads on track, pic of the day has always been a very varied thread with countless different subjects and normally jncludes banter between members.

With over 3 million views obviously someone likes it.

There are several specific bike pic only threads like show me your x y z. Or my x y z leaning on a wall for example.

If you want to create a "Bike pic no chat of the day" thread you're more than welcome, then just click report if anyone doesn't follow the rules.

It’s good to know the world’s supply of fingerless gloves has a safe home. ...
You cry about us having a laugh.
Then post a pic in this lost thread…….anyways…..
Mindless dribble indeed……
You are amongst friends, or enemies you want to show your cool glove shots too…
Your choice.
Obviously it’s a pic heavy discussion thread….. now unplug your keyboard.
No one likes a cry baby.

Each to their own .We are all here because we share a common interest and I think that this thread is the best thing on here. Personally, threads about tyre compounds and half a millimetre of travel here or there , etc leave me cold so I scroll through them usually. However, hearing stories from all over the world about various topics from people I have never met, i find really interesting. You kind of get to know people even though you have never met them and probably never will. You get to find out a bit about their lives and their other obsessions , whether it is Newcastle United, French barmaids, chopping down trees or whatever. The bike pictures are good too.

I find it charming that it veers off in different directions, surely no big deal to scroll past anything that doesn't grab the interest? Sooner or later someone always comes along with a picture of a bike.
