Today, as part of the M2(S) launch, the new firmware update for the M1 was also released. It's great to see that there's now a Komoot Connect function and navigation can be displayed on the bike's screen. I tried it out immediately, but unfortunately, it's not working yet with my PL 800 Carbon Pro. I've activated the experimental navigation function in Komoot, but without success.

Can support help me with this?

No response from Amflow for over a month. Thats a bit concerning. Understood the new models coming out, but with so many new brands out on the market and the season starting soon, they need to sort out the customer support.

Not sure how fast direct messages are being responded to?
 
About an hour later, I received another update, specifically for connected devices, whatever those may be. Now it also works with Komoot. However, I can't start the tour directly from Komoot; instead, I have to click the compass arrow in the Avinox app's taskbar, then select the Komoot tab at the top, and then I can send the desired, previously saved tour to the bike.

It's certainly not the most elegant solution, but it's something at least.

Any way to purchase a 600wh battery for the PL in the USA? (The older 600wh for PL, not the new removable for PR). I want to replace my 800wh internal with a 600wh internal. I don't use all the range and want bike lighter

Just go to the amflow website? They have direct messaging there and can get response within a few minutes.

Oh ok. I was just curious if it was only here with the delay in answering. Good to know they answer quick via direct message

Amflow PX, I want to replace the Gustav brakes with a Dominion A4 and have to change the rotor, I want to use a Sram HS2 and the M1 sensor ring, any problems with that?

I hope not as I am planning on doing the same !, actually it must work as a chap on YouTube put a M2s into a bike with a M1 and only replaced the speed sensor, not the ring

Dear Amflow team!

After the latest update, when selecting Russian language on the bike screen, all the words change to English, although everything was fine before. My friends are experiencing the same problem. Please release an update that fixes this.
 
I have attempted to reduce the dropper height on my px carbon pro by inserting the provided shims as per the instructional video but no matter how many I insert it doesn’t limit the height. Is there something simple I am missing ?

I want to be able to calibrate rear wheel size based on actual rolling circumference. This changes with different brands & size tires.
ATM, it's either 29" or 27.5" wheel and this is crude calibration which can adversely result in motor assist ending before a true 25 kph is reached.

Yes, my bike also displays ~1 mph above my actual speed, and cuts power at 27mph while the display reads 28mph.

Being new to bicycles, I suspect DJI doesn't know the difference between radius and diameter. The radius of a 27.5" tire is around 13.3" when you sit on it, not 13.75" as it came out of the box - the difference amounting to ~1 mph.

Me too. Since the main firmware update recently I have had to update about 6 times for an “inserted device”. I don’t have a SIM card, camera, watch or anything else. I have been doing the updates but it just happened again today. Hopefully someone from Amflow can chime in. Is something really being updated or is this a bug?
 
@Amflow_Support I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but is it normal for the M1 to switch into limp mode at 7% charge? It's not temperature related (Mild 3 hour cruise in 20C weather) and no errors appear on screen, but every time I hit 7%, the power in trail mode suddenly drops to ~100W and turbo mode is even less.

Yes, they drop to eco power at 6-7%.
 
Thanks for confirming the power reduction, it cuts so dramatically and at such a high state of charge that I was worried I might have a bad cell or something. It's a big change from my Bosch which delivered full power all the way down to 3% and then nearly full power from 3% to 0%.

It's odd that Avinox cuts power so dramatically and that turbo mode has much less power than trail when this happens, but I'm still on the October firmware, so maybe the newer versions are more refined.

Does Amflow offer an e-bike with an aluminum frame, the M2S motor, and an easily removable battery for charging off the bike?
If not, does Amflow plan on offering such a bike?
 
Mate they can’t even offer a small frame size so I would get your hopes up

You can use it at the same time, I tested and both things worked.

Specialized release an update for the dynamic microtone which gives 100% assistance. meaning if I put 200W of power in the bike will give me 200W , it has a wonderful linear power curve that exactly matches my power input. If this does not currently exist, would it be possible to program with the next update. this will give a good workout and great range.

(is someone here knows how to set the current system up to do this please advise)
