Hate to be that guy after all the hype (that I was a part in), but basically the 700Wh battery doesn't have particularly impressive cells, and no range extender. Pretty deflating... Although a €4500 Amflow PR is pretty crazy. Hopefully the M2 motor isn't too loud, as it doesn't seem to have the same noise damping tricks as the M2S...
I tried it. I have it. It’s terrible IMO
How come out of interest?I tried it. I have it. It’s terrible IMO![]()
I mean look at it...How come out of interest?
Indeed a 250-300wh that would fit most bike would be the real winner...I mean look at it...
Why couldn't they have just done a normal 200-300wh bottle extender like everyone else?
Heavy. Crude mounting system. Honestly looks like a DIY ebike with it on.How come out of interest?
because you can just use the fast charger for 20-30mins and get the same range boost?I mean look at it...

In the middle of nowhere where do I get power? Huge solar panel on my backpack ;-)because you can just use the fast charger for 20-30mins and get the same range boost?
So the removable 800wh battery is 1300w too?1500w continuous power with 700wh battery, 130 torque and 150nm boost mode for 60 seconds.
With 800wh / 600wh batteries, it’s 1300w continous. Same 150nm boost.
all my rides before where i used the specialized RE i could have had multiple options to get lunch somewhere and ask to charge my bike in the mean time...In the middle of nowhere where do I get power? Huge solar panel on my backpack ;-)
Depends on motor. So the removable 800wh battery is 1300w too?
You live in CH as I do, you should know that there are tons of single trail alpine routes with zero power options. I have multiple 1600-2000m tours in front of my house with zero power outlet on the way.all my rides before where i used the specialized RE i could have had multiple options to get lunch somewhere and ask to charge my bike in the mean time...
800% still. With an 800% assist ratio, the rider needs to put out about *187W, and the motor will provide **1500W* of assistance. So what's the multiplier (or assistance in %) on these new motors? How much input from the rider is needed to get the 1500 watts?
Interestingly Pinkbike list Canyon as one of the manufacturers that will be using Avinox.
there are not many mountains without any huts/restaurants in switzerland that i know of.You live in CH as I do, you should know that there are tons of single trail alpine routes with zero power options. I have multiple 1600-2000m tours in front of my house with zero power outlet on the way.
So fast charger may work for you but not for everybody ;-)
