Hate to be that guy after all the hype (that I was a part in), but basically the 700Wh battery doesn't have particularly impressive cells, and no range extender. Pretty deflating... Although a €4500 Amflow PR is pretty crazy. Hopefully the M2 motor isn't too loud, as it doesn't seem to have the same noise damping tricks as the M2S...

View that now the system finally supports RE I hope third parties will come with better ones.....

You live in CH as I do, you should know that there are tons of single trail alpine routes with zero power options. I have multiple 1600-2000m tours in front of my house with zero power outlet on the way.

So fast charger may work for you but not for everybody ;-)
 
Wow - seems like a whole host of upgrades and improvements over the original. Amflow really are raising the bar once again.

Really looking forward to what the naysayers say this time around!
 
Interestingly Pinkbike list Canyon as one of the manufacturers that will be using Avinox.
 
Be interested to know if there's any efficiency difference between the new 700wh battery and the previous 600/800wh batteries. Is the premium cell just more dense or does it have more to offer?

800% still. With an 800% assist ratio, the rider needs to put out about *187W, and the motor will provide **1500W* of assistance.

I guess that one will probably replace the current Strive:ON, as that never got the new Bosch CX5 motor, they probably waited to launch an Avinox model instead.
 
Wondering if the app based navigation will also be on the original Amflow?

there are not many mountains without any huts/restaurants in switzerland that i know of.
 
After watching Rob’s video up top, I feel fully appraised of the latest motors/batteries so thanks for that. 👍

I have to say that the ‘base’ Amflow at £3999 looks pretty compelling, as do the Megamo offerings if you must have the M2S.

I still don’t need or want the power of any Avinox motor, but it’s good to see the price of admission coming down for those who do.

The mapping feature looks interesting, although I can see some being nervous about using that as you’re immediately telling your bike you’re not in NZ… 🤭 (unless you are of course!)
