What’s the ‘alternate’ seat stay? The chainstay hasn’t changed at all as yet.
It was on Instagram being tested by the bike studio, or tia bikes, the importer i believe.
The axle is in the seatstay, so the longer 'rumoured' 450mm chainstay is controlled by the seatstay.
Dunno why they don't just manufacture one with a flipchip for the axle location to choose either 440 or 450.

It will be interesting to see if the new gen Avinox keeps the same speed limit loophole open… being restricted to 25kph in Aus is laughable on that motor.
Whaaaat? Australia has a 25kph limit??? You should move to NZ - where we get the full 45kph. Also, it would help offset the number of kiwis leaving for Aus!

... so, a question - while I'm on this forum not actually working, how many Rogue owners have experienced the motor/frame mount creaking issue?
I got my frame in Dec '25 and after a few weeks of riding started to get this kind of "cracking/creaking" sound on first initial pedal strokes. After much experimenting with grease, duct tape around motor/frame areas etc etc, then back and forth with LBS and Velduro I was told that it was caused by tight tolerances between frame and motor where they moved against each other. The fix was to install these small metal "top hat" spacers in the frame mount holes (pdf install on their website).
After pulling out the motor and installing the spacers, it initially seemed to fix the noise - but after a few rides it's started to do it again (though not quite as much). I've tried pushing some grease in around the mount holes, which didn't seem to help.
In the wknd I bumped into another Rogue owner who had the same issue. He had special spacers machined by a NZ suspension business (Suspension Tech?) which fixed the noise on his frame.
I'm wondering what I should try next? Maybe find some kind of thin, durable synthetic washer, or maybe slot another stainless steel washer between current spacers and motor?

My impression is this noise doesn't represent a frame integrity issue, but it does sound unpleasant and I'd prefer to not hear it when I'm pushing hard on the cranks.

Which way did you put the washers in? Outside or inside?

Yeah our speed restrictions are a bit of a joke, especially here in WA where my local trails run fast all year long.

I’m not sure if it helps in your case but my frame came with spare motor mount shims. I installed 1 flat shim(not the top hat type) on both the L+R side of the motor front mount. Making it a nice snug fit without needing to force it.
No creaking on mine .

I didn't receive any extra shims from the bike store that built up the bike. I might go to a hardware store and look for some very thin washers that will fit.

...back to the wireless shifting - what length cable is needed (wait what cable for wireless?) I see it is available in 780mm or 955mm

I've been told that there is a new version coming out of the AXS cable, presumably to match a new motor that may be coming out.

00.3018.418.001 780mm Cable (Higo Z405 connector) is better if your bike comes after April.

You are joking, right? The length I have gone to to source the cable for the M1, and you are telling me it will not fit?

Installed as shown in the pdf from Velduro website.
I couldn't find it, the reason I ask is I understand its not the best way as it says from the outside (?). I put mine on the inside. I added a small amount of epoxy. You can then remove the spacer washers. Make sure you then check alignment on the idler after this. No creaks at all on mine now, mine didn't have much but uber silent now. BTW, it would have taken you just as long to say per the website or answer the original question but in good news I lost 5 minutes of my life looking for as per the pdf 😆🤣😆

Thanks for sharing.

I might be missing it but the top hat washers are not in this PDF (as far as I can tell). In regards to the green ones on page 15, they are the washers that come with the Avinox bolt system and not the top hat washers.

Disclaimer - my eyesight is middle aged but I refuse to recognize it.

As per "The PDF" ... I think this was actually emailed as a link to me by Velduro Int.

I just pulled the motor out again to add some carbon grease - discovered that one of the front spacers had completely sheared off from the cylinder section, which is still stuck in the frame hole.
If there's enough play in it to cause that to happen I'm beginning to wonder if this will get worse with use? I've only done 2 rides since installing the spacers!

Looks like we have wasted our money mate. Let's hope we can return them :(

I'm going to wait until I get my frame before I do anything as I'd rather just check for myself to see if the cable fits or not

Well, I did not just buy the cable, because it was not available anywhere when I looked. Instead I bought a 3D-printer, taught myself CAD, designed the housing parts, sourced a step down converter and a cable with matching connector (which also was hard to come by) and some other small parts, made sample prints and so on until I finally had the thing ready. So overall lots of work and investment.
I mean, I was interested in 3D-printing before that, but that AXS-cable was what made me actually get into it....
