I ordered mine in October from a dealer in Switzerland and I was given similar timelines. If I ordered then I would have gotten the bike second half of March, otherwise mid May.

Last time I asked them (2 weeks ago) timelines had not changed. I assume these are the same "containers" other countries are procuring

Velduro Germany, aka ZERO-CENTER, the importer in Germany. I ordered the frame from them directly. No idea if there are other dealers in Germany. I did not find any at the time.
cypress-warehouse ist auch ein Dealer in Deutschland.

UK & Ireland Delivery Update

Quick update for those waiting on bikes.

Our first full container lands late next month, with UK deliveries starting week commencing 6th April.
That batch is effectively spoken for now, there are a few Rogue Medium frame sets (with shock) left and that’s it.

Second container arrives in May. Most Rogue sizes are still available in that shipment, although Large frames are moving quickly — eight remaining at the time of writing.

No drama, just clarity. If you’re planning a build or waiting to pull the trigger, now you’ve got real timelines to work with.

can you clarify what’s the status now with lvl 5 certification/dual crown compatibility? and the longer cs?

M1 or M2 in the May batch?

Does this align with other people’s experiences?

Review mentioned well planted but a little sluggish and you can feel the weight.

It seem like most people’s bike builds have been running high bar bends or spacers to get the stack higher?

This review is quite frankly very poor journalism. Just look at the photo's to see the kind of conditions the bike was tested in.
There was enough clay stuck to those tyres to keep a potters wheel spinning for the next decade. I'm absolutely sure the bike felt heavy and sluggish in those conditions with several KG of unsprung mass attached to the bike. Also, those Michelin tyres are heavy AF!

I can confirm, the bike is planted, but nimble in the turns and insanely capable when the trail gets steep. Also, very predictable in the air, especially if you're used to riding 22kg+ full fat ebikes. Its a proper weapon of a bike.

I've never ridden one (or even seen one) but I think their complaints do track with the gist of what most reviews, which try to be glowing on anything and everything, have indicated.

For one, the bike is a bit heavy, consistently. I think it's built heavy duty, it has the Idler wheel & then they have built the frame up for the chain ring protection. That was in fact a good build on test with obviously the light M1 (M2 will possibly be heavier), OneUp dropper, CF wheels & air suspension F & R. I'm certain that they weighed it before it was dirty and in many photos it was washed. BTW I've actually weighed a dirty bike vs. the same bike cleaned and that stuff weighs way less than you would think.
Secondly, many review have mentioned the lack of front wheel traction being problematic. It's a common complaint on the size Large Rogues I've seen tested as a result of the 440mm CS (actually measured less), even with them growing at sag.
The Avinox rattle is well known, if inconsistent and the rest of the stuff is maybe a bit opinionated, but are valid points. The sluggishness could be a result of that large 800w battery and it's location, the overall bit higher weight, the nature of the suspension combined with other geo decisions like the 63.5' HTA. Their definition of 'sluggish' might be referring to a lack of front wheel traction through the turns as a result of the short CS.

I tried to buy a Rogue and would not be disappointed if I had been successful. That said, I've never been more certain that I made the right choice ordering the current Wild with a CX-R and a 600w battery. It's no secret that the Wild is switching to the Avinox as the market is overwhelmingly demanding it. But it very well might be a step backwards for the model depending on the improvements the M2 offers.

Still got headset cable routing (the Wild)?

Good ride on my XL today. Found it to be quite agile compared to my 22 Reign e+. Definately not sluggish - didnt feel heavy either. Cleared a few jumps I've been struggling with on the Reign. Got home with a smile on my face!

33km and 818m, with 43% charge remaining in tweaked (85nm, 700w) trail mode, so happy with that as well.

The Avinox rattle is well known

which rattle?

if you look closely, that testbike still had an dji branded motor. the one in the video probably is of newer date. if mine is gonna sound like the one in the video, i'm a happy man. not worse than what i currently have with my kenevo sl

Mine doesn't rattle in my Forbidden either. I've turned off all the hill start, pre engagement etc stuff though so might help.

The perfect e-bike doesn't exist... however, comparing a Velduro to an Ampflow and other e-bikes to an Avinox doesn't make any sense. At least not yet. Especially if it's a fast, flowing trail without technical difficulties. Will an Ampflow be faster on that type of trail? Of course it will... obviously. But I can think of many other places where it would fall behind the Velduro. For now, it's the only Category 5 e-bike with a reinforced frame for heavy-duty riding. The closest e-bike today is the Unno Mith... but I don't see the Unno Mith traversing rock gardens and jumping big drops with the same efficiency as the Velduro. The Unno will surely beat the Velduro in other aspects; as I said, the perfect e-bike doesn't exist.

When an Ampflow Enduro, a Teewing Flux One, or a Forbiden Enduro bike appears, then the gentlemen of "e-mountainbike magazine" can make an honest comparison.

Sadly, yes. I bet they will redo that with the Avinox version that's coming out soon.

Honestly if they can bring their hardwired dropper technology to every bike and then hardwire the transmission I would actually prefer headset cable routing cuz then the only thing you have is your rear brake line.

The Magura MDR-Ps are the best rotors I've used, and by a long shot.

They are thick, they are 2 piece, they never warp, they are hard to overheat, they have a lot of bite, they are lighter than they look as the center section is Al, heck they even look great imo.

Also, if you see that little hole above the mounting holes, they sell a snap in magnet that on some e-bikes with rotor mount speed pickup can be used in place of your stock magnet pickup. My Fazua 60 is able to utilize this.

Velduro does not use a disk magnet as its the Avinox ring

To the ones who already have one, do you use the lockout on your shock or is the suspension so good you can ride up without?

I do not use lockout climbing on the rogue, but I have never used lockout on any of my e-bikes.
I do not use it at all. The rearward axel path also drives the front down as the suspension compresses too, small but noticeable. In the weekend I took on a grade 5 climbing trail and not once did I think the bike needed to be locked out.

Has anyone ordered and received a size small Rouge that can offer feedback?.... l am 5.6 and keen to get an idea to how the rider positioning sets up at best on the small frame, feeling neutral, weighted....

Noticing wether rider body language feels toward the front wheel or into the middle or positioned back....
Cheers!

My wife has a small frame - rides amazingly well and it seems planted and balanced. 168cm is on the cusp between S and M .. check your inseam v dropper height. If you have long legs v torso the Med with longer dropper would be better.

I reckon you have to take reviews with a grain of salt and in particular consider the reviewers chosen preferences.
If that guy is used to riding a trail bike like a amflow then the velduro will feel sluggish and slow to turn...... but at the same time a ton more capable.

Comparison has to be with another similar travel/battery sized bike.
Most reviews of bikes above 160mm follow this path of review, bike is heavy, sluggish.... but rides chunk real well.... how surprisng for 160mm riders to think that way.

Anyway, at 170mm/180mm mid pivot with a 800 battery upfront its never going to be a whippet of a bike. It's a chunk swollowing monster. Want a light weight nimble trail bike.... look elsewhere.

To anyone who installed ridewrap or invisiframe to their Rogue: did you have to remove and decals/stickers to get a proper seal, or are all the decals smooth to the frame?

All seems OK to me. Plenty of overlap past the decals as well.

the more i look at wrapped velduros the less i want to install my invisiframe kit. i don't like this two different matt tones at all. anyone interested in a size large kit?

Same height and I've have a deposit on Small. I could have got a medium back when Durrti got his, but I held out because I want a more nimble bike and Front/Rear center ratio works better for me with fixed CS at 440mm, which is the exact opposite for others considering the L/XL in the bike's current version since fixed stay lengths may not be enough. Also, coming from a Sonni, I'm used to a tighter reach. Also, smaller frames are lighter and with this bike any little bit helps. Downside is that shock choice is even more limited.
