I'm with you, I'd have liked to at least sit on an RH3 but I figured in between I'd go for the smaller one on a do it all bike. I'm also running full 29 so my wheel base is longer anyway which was really the dimension that swayed me RH2 rather than RH3. Reach ONLY and I'm on an RH3. Either way, in the end with the adjustability of the Spectre it's easy to make both work.

Yea i think either way you can make it work, chainstay adjustability and reach adjust and different length stems. There’s a lot to tinker with and fine tune a setup that fit well.
 
Quick question for anyone with insight on Crestline distribution in Europe.

I had the white RH3 Coil MX frame with the 800 Wh battery sitting in my cart, but in the end I didn’t click the “Pay” button. Once I added EU VAT and import duty, the frameset would have come out to around $11,500, which is hard to justify.

Does anyone know if European dealers are expected to receive any allocation of frames? I’d be much more interested if it could be purchased locally within the EU and at a more reasonable final price.

Any info appreciated.

SoCal area would be ideal, but shipping is an option too.

Does anyone know if the modular drop outs are different shape for a 29 or 27.5 for the same size. i.e. is the 29 x 445 the same as a 27.5 x 445? It wasn’t very clear on the website. Thank you!

The engraving on the dropout in the photo shows 29" 450mm so I would assume there is a separate part for the 27.5 450mm

I'm unlikely to get another Crestline. As glorious as they they are, they are just too pricey to land in nz.
DJI crestline frame landing in nz in my spec excluding any freight would cost me $15k.

Or I cauld get a Velduro for frame $8.5K. I'd have to give away swappable battery option Everything else suits my needs on the velduro. So $6.5k extra for swappable batteries isnt worthing it. I'd buy a portable battery pack and a fast charger and charge up over lunch rather than swapping batteries.

Anyway, its a moot discussion because there wont be any new e bike for me for 3 or 4 years unless my bike gets stolen or gets taken out by another car.
