Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

Sethimus is correct, the Avinox motor has a power port, my understanding it's the same one that Bosch uses and therefore uses the same cord, that can power the Transmission derailleur.

Furthermore, the Rogue frame also has the correct wire routing built in to accomplish this.

Think about the Vala/ Bullit CC frames that run Bosch motors, the motor is capable of powering the Transmission derailleur, and Santa Cruz didn't even mold the frames to accommodate this. So incredibly stupid.
this is promising, ...just looked them up - £185RRP!! wow
Just need confirmation of same connection as Bosch, I presume so as there is only 1 type available unless the Avinox builds that have this are factory bespoke setup.

I had spoken to Velduro about this a while back and they confirmed that you need a 780mm cable such as this one:

Cheers,
Pietro

Does anyone know if a 240mm dropper fits in a large frame?
It will fit, but you have only 300mm of insertion depth per Velduro's spec on an L frame. So some of the seatopost will stick out. Whether that is ok for you or not depends on your own size.
e.g. if you are using a one up seatpost you can type your data here: Dropper Post Length Calculator

IMHO a 240mm on an L is going to be a bit of a stretch.

Sethimus, I think you miss understand - it is possible to wire the motorised mech to the main battery pack (on Amflows at the very least), this is what I am querying, not the routing of cable.

a picture for those who are not able to read. price question: why mention "e-shift compatibility" if all electric derailleurs are wireless? exactly, there is a cable port. ffs. not THAT hard

hint for the future: manufacturers usually provide such information. you need to look them up. plus, that topic was discussed in here already SEVERAL TIMES. reading the thread also yields information...

no avinox support for di2 so far i'm aware of, so only axs compatibility. exactly the opposite with bosch

That doesn’t clearly state that the mech can be powered from the main bike battery - that is my question.
Any bike can have e shifting installed as you say why list, but it’s not specifically stated.

As stated by Suns_PSD on the Santa Cruz Vala you can’t do this even though the Bosch motor/battery can.

Im running mechanical XT 10/45. Works extremely well. No chain stretch yet. Roughly 300km in. I went for this option as it keeps the derailleur out of the way more and the cassette, derailleur and chain were $367 NZD. This also reduced weight, I agonized over spending another $1500 for the AXS but now that I'm a fair few kms in totally happy with my decision. If your stretched on budget save money here and invest in a custom tuned coil, the leverage ratio is nirvana on the Velduro for a coil. I've also solved all creeks and rattles on the bike except the motor which does not bother me as its not invasive. Without doubt this is the sickest bike I've ever ridden, off to Rotorua for 4 days of riding today. So pumped 🙌

Do you have a YouTube channel so we can watch it in action? How did you get round silencing the bike?

hence why it's explicitly stated. else, it makes no sense of even mentioning it, as EVERY BIKE IS WIRELESS COMPATIBLE

I’m happily grazing second hand but new parts people don’t want so picked up a transmission GX mech, the shifter and the mech power cable relatively cheap, will send away my Ohlins coil shock for bike tuning next month and the rest of the parts come directly off my Cannondale Moterra SL, I just can’t stand the noise that that Shimano EP801 motor makes anymore 😂 Then i have something to fettle waiting for the frame to arrive in April, Have a great time in Rotorua

Sorry mate. Im a watcher and not a creator. I ended up increasing the torque of the motor bolts and put plenty of grease in there. I also increased the torque of the lower shock bolt and put some slapper tape between bottom plate (motor cover) and the frame. The bottom plate is a hard plastic and it touches the frame, when pedaling torque is applied it was making a small noise. This also may have been to the lower torque setting but I started with the slapper tape so its still there. Its 100% quiet now. The lower shock bolt torque was also Ok'd by my dealer who spoke with Velduro. Just got back from a quick lap and was grinning ear to ear. The bike is just so nice and capable.

Perfect thank you :), I can't wait for mine to arrive here in the UK and build it up. I shall probably film the build and document my first ride experience as opposed to my usual video content of just me riding.
Did you get a bash plate supplied or just the standard plastic motor cover?

Happy shredding mate

with in reason cost isn't an issue. a coil is already the intention - which one though?? I have a Cane Creek DB which I have swapped between bikes and I love but won't fit the Rogue. Was intending a Fox, but maybe an ohlins. I want a coil fork as well (I have a smashpot in my 170mm lyric on my Enduro with a Rockshox coil on the rear too) so maybe an ohlins fork too (was considering Fox 38 or Manito Mezzer)

Ace cycles are doing a bundle with a e-storia for £5200. I need to move my order over to them. Was going e-storia anyway so saving about £350.

2nd hand is a good idea...but no warranty. I was considering a 2nd hand fork to then put a smashpot in as that would void the warranty anyway. Save me checking - which Ohlins coil fits?

I'm running a smashpot v2 in my ohlins rxf38 and it's butter. Don't get me wrong though, the standard air spring in the ohlins is better than fox, rockshox versions but I prefer the predictability and durability of the smashpot.

Also will be paired to my ttx22m2 coil shock but I need to have the head swapped to the side by side version as mine is the piggyback and doesn't fit

Can't wait to throw it all on my rogue when it arrives in April

Just wondering about the bash plate on the belly of the bike...where I ride is very technical, lots of big chunky rocks and some abrupt (rocky) up and over moves. My last eeb had an aluminum belly plate and it was gouged to sh*t, if it's plastic, it may end up looking like this...

Cheers bud. Mine didn't come with a bash plate.

Hi friends,
to make the wait for the new bike or frameset a bit easier, I invite you to read and check out our Velduro Rogue VETTA Dream Build.

can you confirm in a similar cryptic way as Troydon from Crestline that the first Euro batch will be silent on the way up AND down an that there are parts bolted to the frame that are currently under a manufacturer embargo too? (you can blink twice for yes) ;)

If it was OK’d by Velduro, can you say what the increased torque settings were?

I’d vote EXT E-Storia for coil.

Why not a Storia V4? The E storia has been out for like 5 years now, I'm going for a V4 on my Eeb, wanted to fit the V3-S off my Analogue but it's wrong size unfortunately
