I like the orientation as it is, I think simply moving the charge port up would’ve given most shocks adequate clearance. With a sideways mount like the one you have above, the reservoir can get in the way.View attachment 173480
that's what velduro should have done too with the shock orientation, all the shocks would have fitted
Rookie mistake only having one bike. The annoying thing about it is it shouldn't be happening in the first place.... It's all good getting a warranty replacement but then you're off the bike for the foreseeable until it turns up. I've never been interested in a second or spare bike, I can do everything on the one but maybe I should get a second one as a backup for when the inevitable happens![]()
Then you have a reservoir smashing ya ankles. The same big reservoir shocks wouldn't work. No thanks.View attachment 173480

I have one wife. She is my best friend. When she's ill or otherwise up-on-blocks then that's life. No way I want a second wife any more than I want a second bike. My first bike, like my wife, gets my full love and attention. As does her bike. Simples.Rookie mistake only having one bike.
Stuff and can does go wrong. Either warrantee, breakages or wear and tear. Just like death and taxes you can guarantee that something will cause bike downtime at some point.

Only 3 in your household ride? That's rookie numbers.....That's all well and good if it was only me in my house who rides. But when the Mrs and son also ride it gets a bit expensive. And it's not like they are on cheap bikes either. I will and always have been a one bike man...

I have 5 that ride. Plus my son and i race enduro and dh. Yep its not cheap. But great times!

Sometimes. I had a similar set up on the pole except horizontal shock and kept bashing the reservoir with my knee.your shock height is > than the q-factor of your cranks? do you regularly hit your ankles against your cranks too?
Caught a knee pad strap on my Pole reservoir and had an awkward tumble in the steeps.Sometimes. I had a similar set up on the pole except horizontal shock and kept bashing the reservoir with my knee.
I just actually want to know why you have a forklift in your garageOnly 3 in your household ride? That's rookie numbers.....

What are you miffed about on the currently advertised frame package out of interest? Also just email Velduro UK and they will answer your questions.Seems like a few have possibly cancelled their preorder? Any issues with refunds? (uk specific). What were your reasons?
Although i haven't, i did order on the basis of leaked/incorrect(?) info from the Uk importer a few months back, so am very keen to know the actual spec of the frame i ordered asap.
Am in no rush for a bike and would be a bit miffed to get what is currently advertised, especially if in another few months a revised batch is available.
Im also wanting to move my order from the importers to ace cycles so need to check that won't affect my right to cancel. Mainly as they are closer, plus they have a bundle with an e-storia for an extra £700 which is an excellent deal.
Hehehe.... Doesn't everyone?I just actually want to know why you have a forklift in your garage![]()
Mainly chainstay length on l and xl. If they are reportedly 450mm i would have expected the main NZ site to have been updated by now. Oh and the claimed dual crown compatible upto 180mm.What are you miffed about on the currently advertised frame package out of interest? Well thats an awesome reason, not that anyone needs a reason for a forklift. Should be standard issue for all garagesHehehe.... Doesn't everyone?
My side hustle business is manufacturing Plummet vertical bike racks. I order in 300kg of bike rack parts at a time and got sick of manually loading/unloading/loading/ packing orders.... Enter the forklift and it is oh for awesome!
First batch still to get into NZ will have 440 CS, I’m sure they will update if it changes for the next batch.Mainly chainstay length on l and xl. If they are reportedly 450mm i would have expected the main NZ site to have been updated by now. Oh and the claimed dual crown compatible upto 180mm.
Being a short arse medium, i’m happy with that CSFirst batch still to get into NZ will have 440 CS, I’m sure they will update if it changes for the next batch.
Does anyone know if 240mm dropper fits in size L frame?
Yes i did see the next batch of nz bikes were due February on the website, so should be on the boat currently.First batch still to get into NZ will have 440 CS, I’m sure they will update if it changes for the next batch.

First batch should have arrived in the port today, not sure when the next is due.Yes i did see the next batch of nz bikes were due February on the website, so should be on the boat currently.
Where as uk due April.
The shipping times appear broadly similar from china to both countries, so im certainly hoping it’s an updated batch yet to be manufactured.
I think only the SRAM works with smoothshift on the Avinox.I'm trying to decide on drivetrain, I've been convinced on the use of electronic shifting (instant, no over shifting mangling the chain/mech), but which option of Shimano XT D2i or SRAM GX Eagle AXS?
Can either be wired to the avinox battery?
I'm not sure, but I think Velduro currently has no cable connection between the AXS and the Avinox. I haven't seen it in any pictures yet. they have, both for electric or mechanical shiftingI'm not sure, but I think Velduro currently has no cable connection between the AXS and the Avinox. I haven't seen it in any pictures yet. Does anyone know more about this?
Sethimus, I think you miss understand - it is possible to wire the motorised mech to the main battery pack (on Amflows at the very least), this is what I am querying, not the routing of cable.they have, both for electric or mechanical shifting
