My LBS said it’s coming……..,
Then I asked what’s coming…
They wouldn’t say…….

Same. I got the ranged extender, but I've not needed it so far. I went on my longest ride ever with the RE on, and didn't actually end up needing it.

But how is that possible??? If the extender discharges at the same time as the conventional battery??? 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐

I just bought my G4 Expert a couple weeks ago. Will this new firmware update which is supposedly coming out be OTA or shop upload? How were the last updates done?

So............"1.21 gigawatts"?
Yeah something like that to be able to power that x-ray 😃 when going near mach 1. And as you can see they also added theme choices on the apple display...here you can see the knight rider theme 😜

I have just seen this from France, i dont know what it says but hopefully what you are looking for....

you can let google translate it for you. 850w for sworks while maintaining 111nm, standard models 810w and 105nm

Video has been taken down.....🤷‍♂️

There was another showing you how to do it from your App.

How strange
Not really, likley just uploaded ahead of time and someone forget to make it private (which they have since now done). Fairly standard to have all this stuff ready to go on YT ahead of the launch date.

Also possible they share the private links amongst distributors ahead of time so they can view the info.

"Thanks to automatic updates via the Specialized app, your bike keeps improving over time — right from home. Specialized isn’t sticking with the old formula; they’re redefining what a top-tier e-MTB can do.

With more peak power, more natural power delivery, quicker responsiveness, and new customisation options, the S-Works motor now gains 18% more peak output, reaching 850W, while still delivering 111Nm of torque.
The standard model gains 22% more peak power, reaching 810W, with 105Nm of torque.

The new Dynamic Micro-Tune system lets riders control power with more precision than ever before.
The new Zero-to-100 mode provides fully variable assistance, adjusting the motor output exactly to the rider’s effort.

Riders get a more natural pedalling feel and smoother assistance transitions as they approach top speed. They also get more responsive support to help clear large roots, steps, and obstacles without falling into a “dead zone,” thanks to snappier re-engagement when they start pedalling again.

This is much more than a simple update — it’s the next evolution in e-MTB performance, and proof that the Gen 4 platform keeps getting better with time."

why wouldn't it? Don't the intended Specialized University audience also want to know when it's coming?
those courses are usually only available AFTER release. dunno if that is different for higher tier stores than ours

Specialized university is just a fancy name for their YouTube channel. Follow them if you like.

I'm sure details will be available for all soon

it’s a full fledged internal learning plattform for their dealers. not for the public, those youtube videos are the only public thing you get to see
