Hi all,
I’ve been testing the difference between eMTB+ set at standard power (600W / 85Nm) in the app versus the higher setting of 750W / 100Nm, and honestly, I can’t feel any difference in power delivery. With the torque and wattage dialled up to maximum, it seems as though eMTB+ is already accessing full power regardless of the app’s settings.
To compare, I ran MTB mode (set at 600W / 85Nm) back-to-back against eMTB+ at the same settings, and eMTB+ still felt noticeably stronger.
The same appears to apply to Turbo mode as well — switching between standard and maximum outputs makes no real difference.
With that in mind, while I understand Turbo provides a linear power curve, I don’t really see the benefit of having it as a separate selectable mode if I’m riding exclusively off-road, where eMTB+ also gives the traction control advantage.
What do you think?
