Hi all,

I’ve been testing the difference between eMTB+ set at standard power (600W / 85Nm) in the app versus the higher setting of 750W / 100Nm, and honestly, I can’t feel any difference in power delivery. With the torque and wattage dialled up to maximum, it seems as though eMTB+ is already accessing full power regardless of the app’s settings.

To compare, I ran MTB mode (set at 600W / 85Nm) back-to-back against eMTB+ at the same settings, and eMTB+ still felt noticeably stronger.

The same appears to apply to Turbo mode as well — switching between standard and maximum outputs makes no real difference.

With that in mind, while I understand Turbo provides a linear power curve, I don’t really see the benefit of having it as a separate selectable mode if I’m riding exclusively off-road, where eMTB+ also gives the traction control advantage.

What do you think?

I've got tour (300w,65nm), tour plus (400w,65nm), mtb (600w,85nm), and mtb plus (750w, 100nm).
Didn't find a point to turbo really.
Found the overrun in mtb plus to be pretty excessive too, hence the usage just for climbing shenanigans.

I've ditched Turbo as well, I have eco+, Tour, emtb and emtb plus ( dialed overun at -2). Turbo tried on the first ride and skipped since it's just to aggressive and moto style, unnatural.

Based on this German Velomotion YouTube video:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMiJn5Sevq0&list=LL&index=1

there is a clear difference when the rider's input power (Eingangsleistung) is less than 150 W. When you put in more than 200 W, there is no difference. Based on this Velomotion video, I did some testing today, and yes, I can definitely feel a clear difference at low input power. When I pedaled lightly, the TURBO assisted significantly more than the EMTB+.

Some years ago I used Sport, then EMTB and now EMTB+ and I could never generate enough torque on a steep hill to match Turbo. Wherever I was peddling, sometimes on tracks over 33% I could always feel a boost in Turbo. Perhaps I’m just weak.

It's power that matters.

If you can't generate too much force at the pedals, spin it faster.

The system is power based (torquexrotation).
Hope it helps.

Turbo is more linear than emt modes. I can feel it for shure.
600w/85nm vs 750/100nm I agree its hard to feel easily , but I´m sure it´s there.

Would be useful if someone could test for me : in eMTB+ mode, drop the power to 600w/85nm and see if it feels different from having it set to 750w/100nm.
I can't on mine, almost like it does bypass the power settings and provide maximum power regardless of the custom configuration
