Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

If
I’d prefer cramming for sure. I’ll just swap parts over from my Amflow and sell that.

Velduro.com.au isn’t showing much info! Still just only a front page with “coming soon” listed, as it has been for a while now.
If you contact them they’ll give you a code to get into the store :)

I feel I shouldn’t have to. Doesn’t make them look too professional if they’re in the business selling bikes.
Yeah, I understand that, some business do make giving them money extremely difficult, but thats not my experience here. I contacted Velduro NZ, they put me in touch with Velduro AU and I had my deposit in within a few days.
My understanding is the website isnt fully finalized yet so they didnt want it live (fair enough). Having said that, maybe their current under construction home page could have their contact details or a expression of interest form :)

Good strategy! Congrats on yours, hope it arrives soon!

Super excited, the forbidden is going to be awesome though!
With the current world situation I’m not expecting the Rogue before the new year, although they are aiming for Nov/dec.

Im starting to plan my build, i see the frame ships with 155mm cranks in all sizes. I'm a bit of a weight winnie and looking to shave some weight off where i can. Will 160mm cranks arms be ok on a large? The cranks i want dont seem to be available in 155mm for the DJI motor.
Helix Race Carbon Cranks.

i cant see a problem other than slightly more chance of pedal tagging.

Going from 165 to 155 cranks on my current bike made a huge difference. My wife reckons the swap from 160 to 155 on her bike was noticeable as well. Personally, with all the power of the DJI motor I'd go for the extra weight....

Only time I’ve ever seen a buddy in my group walk his bike home, was due to carbon cranks. Pedal strike broke the pedal thread housing. Personally don’t think the weight is worth it when it comes to cranks. Metal is best 🤘

Concur. Pedal strikes on technical climbs were the bane of my riding till I swapped to shorter cranks. Go shorter like 150mm. But don't go longer than the 155mm.

It really helps with things like climbing stairs. And you can run your suspension softer, so the bike sits deeper in the shock.

I'll admit that i enjoy the hell out of my 150mm cranks on the crestline. But I also have 165mm on the dh bike and 170mm on the enduro mtb

Wait what? There is a new cat5 mk2 frame before the original is even launched?

Size specific chain stays?.... How soon to view these refreshed frame refinements are up on Velduro site?

Maybe Velduro HQ can chime in with some more info? Will people who currently have orders get to choose CS length? Will the first batch of frames be Mk2 spec?
Whilst we all appreciate how nimble Velduro can be given their small size, maybe in the future more official announcements of updates or changes could be made instead of semi cryptic forum posts?

The bikes are already selling in NZ. We have made a lot of improvements since they first went on sale there. Such as… There was only one rear triangle fit all frames, now there a choice. The frame although excellent has been tweaked so it meets Cat 5 spec and is now booked in for testing. Fox have custom tuned their X2 for our bike, they will be available with our frame sets if required All small changes but we are a small business and can move to improve very easily and quickly, we will continue to work on and improve our offering.
can you then post the updated geometry chart plz?
