Same here - can't wait![]()
Wow that’s a long delay. I wonder if there is another manufacturer than Teewing placing large orders as well. I’m sure they prioritize production for the big customers over individual orders for 1 frame. Probably a good thing because I don’t really need to be spending $11k building a new bike right nowI sent an email asking for a quote, but Jim told me they are sold out and will only be available next March
They make frames for several different bike companies, the majority of their business is just white labeling frames for other bike manufacturers. It seems Jim from LC mentioned it early in the thread, but probably edited it out later, maybe Teewing didn't want it to be known.Really ?please can you explain why you affirm that light carbon produce the teewing frame ?
You think or you know ? only a personal appreciation based on marketing speech of lightcarbon or you have informations not shared at this time (major brands name for who lightcarbon produce frames) ?They make frames for several different bike companies, the majority of their business is just white labeling frames for other bike manufacturers. Do you have any Problem? You think or you know ? only a personal appreciation based on marketing speech of lightcarbon or you have informations not shared at this time (major brands name for who lightcarbon produce frames) ?
I just try to understand that come from the storytelling of sallers (or the mind of customers) and the true. Several discuss about avinox frame kit availabillity since several months? At this time i haven't seen somebody who have receive one and I don't really know now who really builds it ? Important for me, because if it's really light carbon who produce it, i whouldn't want it.Do you have any Problem?
Are you the guy with the messed up headset that tried to blame them for a faulty frame and now has a personal Vendetta against them?I just try to understand that come from the storytelling of sallers (or the mind of customers) and the true. not an headset. But yes, i have purchased various bike frame: dengfu, SZZS, light carbon. Notabily an frame LCE971 and i will never purchase another light carbon. I don't doing an" vendetta", i don't trying to dissuade those who want an light carbon. i'm moved on something else. But i'm interested by an avinox frame kit. I would say based on what we know it's 99% made by LightCarbon and I'm sure we can get someone to confirm it here. I believe earlier in the thread Jim had linked to Teewing saying you can buy the complete bike or frame+shock kit from if you want something more complete and presumably had pics of the frame.not an headset. He confirmed what you’re saying earlier in the thread that only a few suppliers are able to get them, I guess they were lucky enough to make the list. I bet you’ll be stuck somehow dealing with LC for warranty issues/replacements although I’d be interested to hear how exactly that’ll work. How we are getting on with motor and battery supply, my understanding is that motors are only available to certain suppliers ? I would be interested to buy if we could guarentee we can purchase motors and battery without the frame ( Jim any comments here please ) ?
I had an interesting conversation with the Forbidden guys regarding the motor choice and availability. It seems that Avinox had focused their marketing efforts on the Amflow initially and had not reached out to the manufactures... he was saying that they got a hold of Dji early on. They also looked at what they had planned for their new design that was initially slated for a different motor and found that it was possible to change mid stream and accommodate the new motor and battery shape into their future design. So it seems that early on, those with vision had opportunity. He confirmed what you’re saying earlier in the thread that only a few suppliers are able to get them, I guess they were lucky enough to make the list. One would think that, but here we are.Anyone who has ordered, do you have pics of what this frame is supposed to look like? I imagine you wouldn’t have purchased without at least seeing it?
Can you at least post the drawings? Just odd they haven’t posted any pics whatsoever of the frame or even a geo chart. One would think that, but here we are.
Got my CEF50 on the market and ordering new parts so I am 'all in' as they say.
Jim has been very responsive with technical details and a few drawings as I want a longish dropper post and Arcos headset and will be doing my own painting. Wish I could do my own battery but that is apparently not possible with DJI (which is largely the same issue with their drones and cameras which I also use and abuse)
I got a closeup drawing of the seat tube for depth measurements. Can you at least post the drawings? Just odd they haven’t posted any pics whatsoever of the frame or even a geo chart.
My request to Jim went unanswered![]()
Very weird then, why is there not a chart and pics available? Seems weird how this thread started off with it supposedly being the Teewing bike, and now nobody able to confirm it and Teewing denying it. Almost sounds like LC is the OEM for the frame and got in trouble for sharing that and is now unable to share any details about the frame or something.I got a closeup drawing of the seat tube for depth measurements.
No pics, no geo. chart but was told 500mm reach which is all I had asked about and that was for the XL.
We don’t know. It seemed like it was the Teewing, but they came out and claim LC doesn’t make the frame for them. LC has been quiet about it neither confirming nor denying it and somehow nobody seems to have any pictures or geo charts of whatever LC is offering. Very strange.Isn’t it identical to the Teewing?
