Leave out the Fanboysm for DJI and prove some facts :
Bosch is reliable
Bosch is easy to repair in case that it eventually fail
I personality don't need to race up the hill so any bike thay had 100Nm is moreee than enough for anyone.
Bike geometry is much more important than some silly turbo. Factss
Yes I agree that Bosch is a "reliable" using the term loosely after seeing many folks let down by their warranty department.
Yes the Bosch can be repaired which is important and Yes it will fail eventually unfortunately
Yes, I understand that "You" do not need more power. I would hesitate to speak for "anyone"
Yes I understand that lumping both (bike geo) and (silly turbo) as an equation in which you seem to believe that it is not possible to have both, dismissing power advantages as silly.
A few points I would like to present: The amount of power is as important as the way power is delivered, I think you will discover that the Dji is very will integrated with power delivery.
In addition to power, Size / Weight / performance are kind of a big deal. When I see a Dji powered bike, I have to do a double take to visually confirm that it is an eBike. The small packaging obtained with the new power plant along with slim - High energy density batteries eliminate the bulky frames and downtubes.
I would buy the Dji powered bike as soon as I can find one available that will sell me a second battery so I can travel with the bike. For now I will get buy with the Gen 5 Bosch and make the switch early next year with more choices for Dji powered bikes are available. That being said Bosch is my second choice and seems as if it is a decade older in tech than the Dji
