Thank you - but I meant the expansion port of the control display (12V 2.0A 24W) and the motor expansion port (unknown values)...
Hi there! Future third-party E-bike lights that can be adapted to the Amflow PL control screen expansion port need to meet the following conditions:
1. Power supply method: External power supply (does not support built-in battery)
2. Specifications: Power within 30W (Voltage: 12V, Current: ≤2.5A)
3. Must be used with the E-bike light extension cable to be launched by Avinox in the future. (The extension cable needs to be soldered to the light, otherwise linkage cannot be achieved. Specific methods will be released before the extension cable is sold.)

Hey everyone! My new Amflow PL Carbon 800W (size L) is arriving soon from China. Local forums keep mentioning that it's crucial to perform initial suspension service on both shocks right away. Apparently, Fox 2026 model dampers may contain metal debris from manufacturing. Anyone else dealt with this?
Thank you for your feedback. Usually, no special maintenance is required after receiving the bike. If you encounter any issues during your ride or have any other concerns, you can visit an authorized dealer for troubleshooting and analysis.

AMFLOW: Within the Avinox Ride app, when looking at the Ride Data, is there any way of knowing what percentage of the ride was in each mode?

Torque the motor mounting bolts to a torque of 22nm
On the newer bikes, they're loosening up for some reason

Sorry for not expressing it accurately before, to be precise it is SmoothShift
After upgrading Amflow PL to U4 firmware (version 00.10.16.06), you can enable the quick shift function.
When this function is enabled, the motor will quickly rotate to shift gears when the vehicle detects a rear derailleur shift (no pedaling required).

Notes:

1. This function requires pairing with a Sram Transmission electronic rear derailleur (mechanical shifting is not supported).
2. Supported electronic rear derailleur models are: XX, X0, GX, S1000
3. The vehicle can detect the status of the electronic rear derailleur, and when this function is enabled, it can trigger automatic shifting when the rear derailleur shifts.
Transmission only, or all XX, X0, GX, S1000 derailleurs

Hi Gotz, we are sorry to hear about this. If you find the noise is quite unusual, please record a video of the issue and send it to our email address: [email protected]. We will follow up and assist you further.

Hi Bikeeandy, we regret to tell you currently it is not possible to view the percentage of the ride spent in each mode within the ride data on the Avinox Ride app. We greatly appreciate your valuable suggestion and will pass it along to our development team for further evaluation. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Hi Amflow_Support,

I have installed a SIM card and it seems to work. I can now check the battery status remotely and I suppose the location data gets updated regularly. But what I could not find an answer to is whether the recorded tours should be synced via the SIM? I use the auto start/stop feature for recording so I don't have to start it manually. When I arrive home and switch off the Bike the recorded tour is not immediately synced to the app. Only when I am in Bluetooth range, start the bike again and manually download the recorded tour in the app its available there. And I think when I am on a new tour and have my phone with me the previous tour eventually gets synced automatically, but I'm not sure. Is that the expected behaviour?

Best regards,
Herbert

Can I monitor battery level or charging status from phone or does the motor have to be powered on?

Use Case: I'm sitting in my family room and prepping my ride route for later today and wondering wow much battery do I have left. For my Shuttle SL, I have to walk out to the garage and power up the bike to see those details.

Can you tell me what is the change in HA between the 29er and 27.5er wheel setting on the flip chip, assuming a 29” wheel is retained in both settings?

Out of interest… as when I tried it felt significant.

@Amflow_Support it’s there any problem if you leave the charger plugged all the night to the bike? Or it’s necessary to unplug it when charge it’s finished?

Thank you for your inquiry.
May I ask if you have enabled the "Ride Data Backup & Sync" feature in the Avinox Ride app?
If this feature is enabled, the ride data will indeed only sync to the app after you turn off the bike and then turn it on again next time.

If a SIM card is installed, you can check the battery level in the app even when the bike is powered off.
Could you please share a screenshot of what you see in your app? This will help us assist you better.

64.5°(29) to 64.2°(27.5)

Considering battery health, if you often need to leave your bike charging overnight, you can use the charging limit feature. To set this up, tap "Battery" on the app’s home page and adjust the charging limit according to your needs.

I don't own one "yet" and you answered my question.

Thank you

Hi!

Where exactly in the Ride App (1.3.4-6470) do I find this backup&sync feature? I can't find it.

Anyways, I think most ebikers would want to look at the statistics immediately without having to manually trigger the sync (switch off and on again - and then off again, or opening app and manually download data). Since everything on this bike/motor is so modern I was puzzeled that the ride data has to be downloaded via Bluetooth and some manual steps - I was sure, I did something wrong 😀

Best regards,
Herbert

Hi - could someone please tell me how to change the display langiuage to English? The display is currently in Chinese and, even with Google Translate, I can't find anywhere to set the language. Also cannot fin on the app. Thanks.

Hi, when will the shockmount be available to upgrade from 160mm to 170 in the rear?
thank you
Hi there, thank you for your inquiry. We regret to inform you that the Amflow PL frame is not designed to extend travel. Our rear shock is compatible only with 185*55 specifications, thus the maximum rear wheel travel is 150mm.

Hi Herbert,
You can enable the feature in the App by going to Profile > Terms & Privacy.
We totally understand your concerns and really appreciate your feedback—improving the experience for Amflow riders is very important to us.
Please check if the feature is enabled, and let us know if you have any issues with ride data uploading after turning it on.
