Riding a tuned or deristricted EMTB is not a trivial offence and can have serious legal consequences. Also, many manufacturers can detect the use of a tuning device or deristricting method and may decline a repair under warranty if it was modified from the intended original specification. Deristricting EMTB's can also add increased loads for motors and batteries. Riding above the local law limit may reclassify the bike as a low-powered bike, requiring insurance, registration and a number plate.
Be aware of your local country laws. Many laws prohibit use of modified EMTB's. It is your responsibility to check local laws. Ignoring it, has potential implications to trail access, and risk of prosecution in the event of an accident.

POLL: Do you want to be able to derestrict your Amflow PL?
Yes. A SurRon has a throttle. It's not the same. But the wheel spin you can generate if you set over run to maximum and select Boost for 60 seconds, feels like a motorbike.
Do I ride it this way? No. I was just testing the bikes limits. I'm just saying that if you derestrict it and set all setting to maximum, the bike can feel like a SurRon.
Yes I own Electric Motorbikes. Yes I have ridden the SurRon. And the Amflow derestricted accelerates faster to 30kph than my Electric Motorbike, which has a 5kW motor, because the Motorbike has no gears, and weighs over 100kgs. And with the SRAM XO transmission, and Smoothshift on the Amflow. I can shift at full power.
BTW. My E_Motorcycle. Customised for me like my Amflow.

Sounds like the Amflow will have a lot more power then the gen4 Sworks. Someone said after 20mph it drops down to 250w between 20-28mph
I ride a ep801, in C3. Im on that limiter all day. I dont want the Sworks if im only in a slightly faster rig.
So your saying the Amflow nz mode is a beast over 20? and i stand corrected?
There is no speed or power limit. But you empty your battery so fast.
getting mixed results. And it now depends who you purchased it from. Mixed results there too. Not sure if the VPN can bypass that aspect. many still say they are unrestricted using HK or NZ on authorized purchases
